“Tasty steak sandwich and wedges”
Reviewed August 19, 2014

We were staying quite near to the Irish Anvil bar so it was handy to stop here on the way. We had a lovely steak sandwich and wedges. One of the best meals we had while on holiday.

Pleasant staff and nice spot to watch the world go by on the prom by the sea. We also on other occasions visited at night. They have singers on regularly and one or two nights there was an irish duo and one of them was a comedian too. Great buzz about the place with everyone singing along. The only downside at night is if you sit outside there are a lot of smokers. Not the pubs fault I know. The smoothies are lovely and so are the Malibu and pineapples!!

We also tried the full English breakfast which was massive and very tasty too. Would recommend.

“As good as last year”
Reviewed August 17, 2014 via mobile

Spent a lot of time here last year and enjoying the same again. Wifi for the kids, good quality entertainment acts, sea view, staggering distance to hotel. Food is amazing too. Highly recommended.

“Don't Bother !!”
Reviewed August 6, 2014 via mobile

Stopped for a drink break on our cycle ride and sat down on one of the many empty seats outside. Ten minutes later and despite the waitress looking over at us, still had not been served. I decided to walk up to the bar and order, but five minutes later and the waitress knowing I was there decided to walk out and go elsewhere !. The restaurant next door was very busy and I can see why now ! Don't waste your time and go elsewhere !.
