Description: The Irish Anvil in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote, is the largest Irish bar in the resort, and has so much to offer you. The Irish Anvil in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote, originally opened in June 1996, and promptly established itself as the epitome of great atmosphere, all washed down with a great pint of Guinness. Our breakfast is famous, our burgers are renowned and our cold beers are famous. We have all major live sporting events on 12 full HD TV's. In the evenings we have live entertainment every night and are the number 1 Live Music venue in Playa Blanca.

We stopped by for a drink on the way back to our hotel towards the beginning of our holiday. The couple across from us has ordered food (a burger and fries, if I recall rightly) and it smelt so good that we agreed we'd come by for lunch before we went home.

We were so glad we did! After several spanish meals, it was nice to have a little taste of home away from home. I had the chicken burger and my partner had a fajita wrap with wedges. The quality of the food was good and the portion sizes were very generous - we only just managed to clear our plates and were full right up until dinner time. The prices are very reasonable too!

Highly recommended!

We have visited Playa Blanca for the last few years and we always pop into the Anvil on a couple of occasions. You are always assured of a warm welcome from the staff especially when we visit during the day time. The food is good basic "pub grub" and the portions are huge.
Nice place to sit and "chill out" overlooking the sea and also do a bit of "people watching".
We paid a visit one evening but it does not seem to be as busy as it used to be a few years ago. They have entertainment but on the night we visited he was playing to just a few people but it is still worth a visit.

Have eaten in here on both trips to Playa Blanca and have never had a problem. Food is typical British holiday fayre, very reasonably priced with a wide selection of drinks available. Steak sandwich is to be recommended as is the full breakfast. Service is excellent with lots of authentic Irish staff serving so better than some of other the tacky themed Irish pubs you encounter on holiday. It has a great outside terrace, perfect for sunning yourself as you eat and also for a spot of Brits-on-holiday people watching, always a good way to while away a half hour or so. TV's are plentiful for footy and other sporting events and there is also live music on some nights. Definitely worth a visit if you need your Brit fix while on holiday.

On a recent visit to Playa Blanca we visited the Irish Anvil and had some drinks and a bit of lunch both of which were great and the staff were very friendly, with great service. When I got the bill for four adults pleasantly surprised at how reasonable it was
