“Good and not so good”
Reviewed November 8, 2012

We tried this place on our first night and were pleased with the atmosphere and service. The food was also good and we decided to return later in the holiday to try out the pasta which looked very tempting (we had fillet steak on first night). The second time was a big let down. The head waiter was humourless and totally stressed and seemed unable to delegate to other staff. We were most disappointed and would certainly not return on next trip

“Very Busy - Lots of Atmosphere - Good Pizzas”
Reviewed November 4, 2012

We enjoyed a long evening here. Yes the service reflected the number of patrons - but being on holiday this added to our evening. The sound of a live singer from the tearrace below and the excellent Pizza completed the evening. This was our second visit, but we will return.

“Excellent restaurant, great food and views”
Reviewed October 23, 2012

I would say this is the 2nd best restaurant in Playa Blanca the food is excellent and great choice of starters and main courses. The Pizza's are great as well as the Pasta dishes. We went here a couple of times this holiday and got a complimentary bread of sorts, very strange to describe we described it as like doughnut bread, it isn't sweet and isn't shaped like a doughnut just the testure and taste, very nice though.

It does get busy so you could end up sitting inside which isn't bad but the best is outside with the views.

Would definately receommend.

“Worth a visit”
Reviewed October 14, 2012

We went to Luna Rossa twice on our last visit to Playa Blanca. Service was a bit hit and miss. I think one or more extra staff would help. The food was very good though. The prices were reasonable and there was nice atmosphere. On both visits we were lucky enough to get a table with views over to Fuerteventura. We will definitely go back again.

“Dreadful-Pizza Chef Let Blood drip on Pizza's-Awful Place”
Reviewed September 18, 2012

We were staying in a nearby villa last week and thought we would walk to a nearby restaurant and visited this place. It was dreadful. We were sat near the Pizza Oven and witnessed the chef slice open his finger and the blood then drip onto the pizza he was cutting up to serve. The pizza was then served to a customer. When eventually he saw us watching in disbelief he wrapped tissue paper around the cut finger and continued to prepare the pizzas for cooking. As we were about to complain he left the front kitchen area to have it bandaged in the rear kitchen area. Needless to say we left. Wine prices are expensive -25 euros for a bottle of cava. Service was slow and un-attentive. There are better places to eat italian food in Playa Blanca- Give this place a miss.
