“2nd visit not as impressive as the 1st”
Reviewed August 10, 2014 via mobile

Normally when I go back to a restaurant the food and service exceed my memory of how good it was the fist time

Service can be a touch slow, while I enjoy an uninterrupted dining experience there is a fine line between uninterrupted and ignored.

Starters are excellent followed by a pallet cleanser - a bit pretentious
The main course was exceptional would recommend the salmon, monk fish and Iberian pork
Deserts have amazing flavour and to top it all there is a glass of honey rum

Certainly worth a 3 rd visit before I go home

“Excellent Experience”
Reviewed August 9, 2014

Excellent service, excellent food, excellent location. I can't fault the place. We'd got engaged the day before, so this was our celebratory meal. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!

“Classy”
Reviewed August 7, 2014 via mobile

Another superb restaurant on the marina. Here you get 'proper' service. Silver platters, candles and linen napkins. We sat inside and were given lovely rolls with real butter! Drank very nice Cava. Then complimentary croquettes and shots of beautiful cold soup that even the children ate! Starters were huge....be warned. We had mains of scewers of filet beef, Monkfish, leg of lamb and a beef filet in red wine. All were beautiful. We were told the lamb takes 40 minutes and it took exactly that! Oh and the desserts..... This is not a restaurant to rush in and out of. It's a leisurely dinner because everything is cooked properly. It's not cheap, 150 euros for 4 of us. But we thought it was worth it. Service was not slow, it was discreet and perfect for the setting.

“I JUST LOVE THIS PLACE”
Reviewed August 5, 2014

Went to this restaurant two years ago and when we were back in Lanzarote I knew we HAD to return. A beautiful restaurant with great staff and amazing food. It definitely isn't a chicken and chips place but my 8 year old son loves it too with a good menu for kids. We had three courses, a bottle of wine, two proseccos and coffee all for 100 euros (there was two adults and 1 child). It is at Rubicon Marina and has an open front where you can watch the boats. There are holes in the floor with reinforced glass where you can see the fish swim. It might look stuffy but it definitely isn't and plenty of Spanish people eat there with their families - so kid friendly. Please go - you won't regret it

“Terrible service, terrible food”
Reviewed August 5, 2014

We were very disappointed with this restaurant! It looks beautiful and has amazing views of the marina but the food and service were as bad as each other. The manager was very unfriendly and did not make us feel welcome. It was clear he was in a rush to service us and did not explain the specials I'm the menu clearly. Myself and my husband ordered a chateaubriand and it was not the best cut of meet, there was a lot of fat on it and it was not cooked the way we asked for it.
Overall not a great experience and we would not recommend this restaurant.
