This restaurant is a stone's throw from the gate of Hotel Volcan, were we stayed, right on the water's edge. A delightful spot, looking out over the boats in the marina, and the food was excellent. We expected to pay for the location, but even so our bill seemed a bit steep. Two starters, one steak, one potato dish, one bottle of water, two small beers, one dessert, and one coffer. Total €70.62. Plus tip.

We never eat at the first restaurant next to the hotel, but how wrong we have been on this experience. Directly in front of the Hotel Volcan, this has a large terrace overlooking the Marina Rubicon, but it's the seating inside that attracted us. Exactly how we imagine a large Spanish home to be - all very dark wood and interesting furniture - the food was the same (ie from the description all sounded Spanish enough, but when it came it had been given the same quality treatment and all four plates we tried were absolutely delicious). Plus, don't forget to try Lanzarote's own bottled wines now, they are becoming very striking indeed. Just a pity we didn't go in until our last night.....

Had dinner here last night - lovely location overlooking the Marina Rubicon. Good menu selection and wine list and a number of daily (seafood) specials on offer but we chose the Chateaubriand for 2 (18 Euros each) cooked on a stone at the table. An average quantity of meat but very tender and presented with a selection of vegetables/potatoes unfortunately let down by no longer being hot by the time the meat was cooked. Initially the service was very attentive but after our main dish attention seemed to be focused more on those diners who had turned up after us. In the end we skipped both desert and coffee and asked for the bill. Pity as this restaurant has a lot going for it - just let down by a few points that could easily be fixed.

We had dinner twice at this excellent establishment during our 8-day holiday and were very impressed with the inventive menu, food presentation, location and friendly staff.
Eating here is a must when you are staying in Playa Blanca and if you are resident at Hotel Volcan, you can charge to your room

My wife and I had an evening meal here in mid October. The weather was fantastic with a sunset to remember! We received a great welcome from the walter who gave us greaat attention through out the evening. I must agree that the head waiter who took our order who took our order did so in a very hurried manner and went thro the Specials so fast we didnt understand a word he said - I am fairly sure he was speaking English!
However I must say that the meal we had was of a very high standard- maybe the portions were not over large but certainly enough for us. We were pleased that they were not too big because the deserts were beautiful. Pricewise? Slightly on the dear side, but you pay for what you get! Would we go back? Yes!
