Visited this hotel for a week 3rd-10th April 2014. What a pleasant surprise. The hotel was absolutely great. Smart approach to the frontage with an enormous and imposing reception area. Staff were very friendly and most helpful, with nothing too much trouble. Rooms were large and spacious with good quality fittings and always spotlessly clean. The pools, leisure facilities and grounds, were immaculate and well cared for. As far as the restaurant was concerned it was the star of the show, with inviting reception drinks on arrival every evening and a selection of hot and cold dishes to die for. desserts were equally appealing and waiting staff, always on hand to assist in any way. Breakfasts were just as varied and delicious. We stayed in a side sea view room which was just as good as full sea view as we overlooked the gardens, pools and had a great view out to sea, Every evening there was a different cabaret act in the lounge and they were of a good standard . Will definitely go back again.

Room Tip: Any side sea view room is good particularly on the upper floors.

We had a week in the Natura palace in April and it was probably the most relaxing holiday that I have ever had. The reception area is very imposing and the reception staff are very helpful and friendly ( especially Silvia). Upon arrival we were told that we had a free upgrade to a suite since we were travelling as a family with 2 teenage children and were originally booked in 2 twin rooms - that was such a bonus! The pool area is beautiful - all you can hear is birdsong and the sound of the ocean waves. There was never a problem getting sunbeds and all of the hotel was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The food was great - lots of healthy and indulgent choices - all members of the family were happy and well fed. Being half board we sometimes ate in the poolside restaurant - good choices and not a rip off. The hotel is located off a lovely promenade which leads to playa blanca and this was perfect for a long walk or an evening stroll. The pools were a little cool but I personally didn't mind that. A great holiday.

We stayed here for 10 days over the Easter holidays and have to report that this hotel is a gem one of our best holidays ever. The food is a delight, be prepared to gain a few pounds as you won't be able to resist the tempting array on offer both at breakfast and dinner.
The pool area and gardens are just immaculate and with the beautiful sea front location you could not find a better place to relax - the staff throughout the hotel are so professional and friendly we could find no fault.
This hotel is a must if you are considering staying in Playa Blanca - it is a little way out from the main shopping area but if you are fit it is a lovely walk along the promenade. For the not so able taxis are reasonably priced and there is a regular bus service from the main carriageway.
Thank you so much for giving us such a lovely holiday Natura Palace!!

Had a two week holiday here with my husband & daughter April 2014! The hotel itself is first class! The public areas inside are beautiful with lots of comfy seating! The gardens and outdoor areas are beautiful with lots of trees & plants! The pools are not heated & seem very cold when you get in but you soon get used to the water temperature! There are lots of sun loungers available too! The bedrooms are large, well furnished & comfortable & the layout of the hotel means that every room has a sea view! The quality of the food is excellent and the wine & alcoholic drinks in the bar & restaurant are reasonably priced too! The staff are very friendly & helpful and most speak good English! In front of the hotel is a paved walk-way - 40 minutes leisurely walk to Playa Blanca which is a lovely small seaside town & marina! WI-FI is free in the lobby area of the hotel but is not very fast! One negative for my football mad husband was the poor selection of English TV channels! However there is a sports bar opposite the hotel where he was able to catch some ' important ' matches! Another small negative point is the lack of a safe for valuables in the room! There is a room with banks of safes that could be hired for the duration of the holiday but having to go down to the lobby every time you want something out of the safe is not very convenient!!
We had a very enjoyable & relaxing holiday in the Natura Palace & would definitely recommend this hotel! We will visit again!

Room Tip: There are only 4 floors in the hotel & all have a sea view! However the higher up the room is th...

We stayed two weeks at this hotel with a young school-age child. At first a number of things irritated, but over time the hotel grew on us and is generally of a high standard, certainly four star quality. The rear of the hotel opens on to the promenade and then the shoreline. So no traffic issues. The promenade at Playa Blanca is now several kilometers long. We used it a lot.

Room: spacious, nice view from the balcony over a garden to the promenade and sea. First floor; second floor would have given a better sea view. We were in an annex linked directly to the main hotel building. On 2-3 days in the week there is considerable noise coming from a nearby bar complex (disco style) until around 23.30, which is perhaps relevant for families with kids. Otherwise the room was very quiet. It was kept very clean by the “invisible angels”, however soap and shampoo were not always replaced.

Pool/Garden/Facilities: one freshwater pool, one seawater pool, one small jacuzzi pool. No complaints, clean, well kept up, well monitored. Unlike many hotels at Playa Blanca the grounds are spacious with plenty of room around the pools for loungers. It never felt crowded, even when the hotel was full. All the more inexplicable then that they sometimes didn’t have enough loungers to accommodate all the families around the pool. We had to wait a few hours for our room (not a fault of the hotel, that discussion is reserved for an airline that gets us up in the middle of the night for a too early flight), and to bridge the wait without a lounger was inconvenient. We were sent by reception to the attendant and back to “rethepthion”, with no one willing or able to solve the problem. We would have liked to use the mini-golf, but it was flooded! The gardens are beautifully kept with luscious grass and lovely geraniums and hibiscus everywhere.

Main hotel area / bars: the atrium is magnificently spacious. There are always enough armchairs and bar furniture around in reception and the main bar area. Service in the main bar is just fine. Downstairs there is an impressive theatre for evening entertainments. Piano entertainment also offered most evenings in the main bar.

Restaurant: the jewel of the hotel. The breakfast and dinner buffets were very, very good, with lots of variety and many fresh foods. The salads deserve a special mention, of very high quality. All served and refreshed by a staff well motivated, busy and attentive. The restaurant is very well managed indeed. More problematic for us was the pool café, where lunch is also offered. The menu was in fact good and the food absolutely agreeable and fairly priced. However, service was well-intentioned but haphazard. Simple answer: one or two more staff. By the end we had given up on the bar and walked down the promenade (direction lighthouse), where there is a very good garden café overlooking the sea at Playa Natura, two minutes away.

It should also be mentioned that there is a private doctor calling daily to the hotel. This service seems to work. Can’t comment on the costs, because we were referred on (and not charged for the brief consultation).

Room Tip: The higher the better. The eastern side may be quieter in the evenings than the western end.

Stayed from 10th April through 21st April. Room was located on the first floor, never heard any noise or had any issues.
Hotel was excellent, clean, spacious, great food, friendly staff. The variety of food both at breakfast and the evening was superb. The restaurant staff could not do enough to help and always had a warm welcome.
The internet access was a little slow, this did not impact us negatively though.
Great hotel and would visit again. TOP MARKS.

We (my husband and two children aged 2 and 4) have just returned from 10 nights at the wonderful natura palace at Easter.

We visited playa Blanca about 18 months ago and stayed in the flamingo beach holiday village a short walk away. We really liked the resort and location of the hotel but not the holiday village so we decided to try the natura beach which we had walked past and looked lovely.

We were not disappointed. We were lucky enough to book one of the few available suits. It was fantastic had a double sided balcony, a living area, bedroom, luxury bathroom with jacuzzi bath. The room was well furnished and decorated, spotlessly clean and had a breathtaking sea view.

The reception areas were spacious, light and airy, lots of greenery and some fountains, and lots of seats.

The restaurant was brilliant. The staff were very friendly and lovely with the children. On some nights the service for ordering drinks could have been better as anyone with young children knows you need to keep things moving or they get bored, this is only a small complaint though and nothing major. We have been abroad twice before with the children and it has been a real struggle to get them to eat anything other than a chip. They ate really well in the natura palace and my husband and I were amazed how much they ate. This made our meal times more relaxing and because they were so busy eating it ment my husband and I could enjoy our meal too. My son was particularly excited by the chocolate fountain which had different chocolate every night. Chips, spag Bol, sweet corn were in residence every night so if there was nothing my children fancied we always had this to fall back on. All the food was lovely much nicer than other hotels we have stayed in.

The hotel is a good walk into the town (over half an hour) which didn't bother us as we like the walk along the lovely coastal path and took a double buggy for the children. I think for some families this would be a problem. There is also a beach about 20 minutes walk away which was lovely. Further round from playa Blanca there is a marina which is also worth a walk ( on a wed and sat there is a market) but is a good hours walk. Or obviously you could get a taxi.

We really enjoyed the hotel entertainment. Children's disco most nights which my children thought was great and so did we as we enjoyed a few cocktails while they danced and ran around for an hour. The acts that were on when we were there included acrobats, a magician and singers. The children thought the magician and acrobats were fantastic shows and were happy to sit over an hour to watch. There is also a fantastic cocktail bar next door which we enjoyed going to a few nights.

We had the most fantastic family holiday. Our only complaints would be that the pools were chilly at this time of year and there was no tea and coffee making facilities in our room.

I don't think this hotel would be for every one with children. We visited in the Easter school holidays and there were probably 20 other children there. I think if you like the holiday village type holiday and you have noisy children you would not enjoy it here. It was perfect for us and we would like to visit again.

The hotel would benefit from more rooms suitable for a family of 4 as there seem to be very few.
