TUI SENSIMAR Natura Palace & SPA
Ranked #5 of 37 Hotels in Playa Blanca
Certificate of Excellence

Our 3rd visit. The hotel is super clean, has a fantastic lobby and pretty pool area. The staff are excellent. Beats the Riu chain hands down at evening meals as no double sittings and every table has space around it so conversations are private. Food is great in terms of quality and variety.

We used the spa for the sauna and jacuzzi. Not advertised but 5 euros each per visit.. Lucky we went and enquired.

Only grumble was the poor state of the gym equipment. However best view from agym I've ever been to! Also has decent tennis courts but nothing much organised unless other guests want to play. Keen players should walk along to the Iberostar for organised doubles on Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday mornings. There's a coach there too.

Great location for walks into Playa Blanca.

Room Tip: We had 2111 in the annex. View of gardens, presumably sea views available from 3rd floor.

Having stayed at the Natura for the 4th time in 4 years, we can honestly say we love it!
Stayed for New Year celebrations for the last 3 years, the staff are first class, nothing too much trouble and nice to see same staff surely a good sign,
Can.t wait to return in February for another relaxing week at the Natura Palace,
Ticking all the boxes for us as a family, faultless.
Thankyou to all the brilliant staff at Natura.

Room Tip: Ask for sea facing room

We love The Natura Palace and Playa Blanca. As a couple of mature years it's just perfect for us. Reception staff, waiters/waitresses gardeners and cleaners are friendly and helpful. We have stayed here at least 5 times and look forward to another visit in 2013.
Every room has a sea/garden view and the food is lovely. The walk into Playa Blanca may be a little difficult for those with mobility problems but taxi and bus fares are cheap. Fortunately we are able to enjoy the walk into town most mornings. When feeling lazy a day by the pool in a shady spot and lunch at the poolside bar is magic!
I struggle to find a single complaint about this hotel. The rooms are clean and airy, good quality toiletries in the bathroom and ice cold bottled water awaited us on arrival. Anyone who complains about this hotel must surely be the type who enjoy complaining.
Well done Natura Palace, don't ever change.

We have just returned from our third annual visit to the Natura Palace and are pleased to report that the cleanliness, staff and food are all still excellent. The clientele seems to have changed with more families and groups than in the past, which leads to a noisier restaurant.

Also we had the misfortune to encounter “The Bridge School” from Wiesbaden who emerged from their lessons at 11pm like 10 years old released from class with much loud and raucous laughter that continued in the lounge bar up until 1am without regard to the folk trying to sleep in the rooms off the open corridors above the bar in the centre of the hotel. We have previously had rooms in the same location and knew that the pianists played until 11pm after which all went quiet – not this year.

Next time we must make sure we are in a quieter location.

We stayed at the hotel over New Year and were enormously impressed by it.

The location was fantastic, particularly for winter sun - we had lovely walks in both directions (to lighthouse or Playa Blanca) and the sandy beach 10 mins walk away was perfect for our 4 year old daughter.

The hotel was lovely and the mini-club was really good - light and airy and Natalie was great with our daughter.

We had a spacious room. The only downside was the teeny tiny ants but they didn't really bother us, more of a slight annoyance. Our room probably would have benefited from re-decoration but I'd rather have slightly faded quality than shiny tat to be honest. We also had what must have been the only hotel room which benefited from the free wifi (next to lift on first floor) - it was also very quiet. We had emailed in advance to request a quiet room with a view and they were very accommodating.

The food was fine - I wouldn't say it was amazing and I would be going a bit stir crazy after two weeks but everything was done well, it just got a little repetitive.

The only thing that would put me off returning was that the pools were pretty cold and I'd prefer a heated pool in winter.

Other people were mainly older couples, which didn't bother us. Despite having a child I didn't really want a full on child focused hotel, so this was the right balance.

Room Tip: Next to the lift on first floor - at some points in the room you get the free wifi.

Stayed here for 2 weeks including new year. This is our 6th time and the experience gets better every time! The receptionists are extremely helpful as are all of the staff. It was good to see the Maitre D challenging people who did not wait to be seated at breakfast and dinner. The food seems to get better each time we visit with plenty of choices.

We went for a walk up the volcano behind the hotel which was well worth the effort as the views are amazing. Wear sensible shoes though as it is quite a steep incline.

Room Tip: All rooms have a sea view.

This was our first time to Lanzarote and this hotel, it came very well recommended, and on meeting some other guests during our stay it would seem lots of people make repeat visits. Our room was on the side of the hotel, not the favoured inner sanctum! However, it was quiet and had a sea view and the sun shone on our balcony until sunset. The reception team were helpful and we would suggest you use their knowledge if you want to get out and about, for example we wanted to go to the market at Teguise on the Sunday, reception arranged for us go door to door at a very reasonable price with a local company. The Hotel backs onto a long walkway which will take you into Playa Blanca, it's a good stretch of the legs but we managed this most evenings. There are other hotels nearer and they did not look dissimilar to the Natura Palace. We ate all meals at the hotel, and there was a good enough choice each day, our only irritation was the seating arrangements. It was expected that guests waited at the entrance to be seated, most people did, but at each meal we saw many people just walking in to bag their favourite tables, mostly those clients I observed who had been before, and seemed to be known by the staff. Consequently the nicer tables by the windows were never on offer to those of us playing by the rules! We just let it go, but I imagine for some people it could be a spoiler!! To summarise it is a pleasant hotel, in a quiet area, suitable for a short break, we would return, and might spend more time looking at the Island - would we 'request' an inner room? Yes maybe we would!

Room Tip: We were told the rooms 3rd floor and centre of hotel were the most popular.
