We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Casa Lola. The villa is a great size, with ample outside space. It is clean and well maintained. We were very grateful for the welcome pack, which was very generous and had everything we needed for the night and next morning, which meant we didn't have to go to the shop as soon as we arrived (wouldn't have been a hardship though as it's only a 2min walk away!)
We travelled with our toddler who had a lovely time. It was slightly stressful making sure the tiled floor wasn't wet at any time as he's only just walking and we didn't want him to go flying. We were very happy that the pool was fenced off so didn't have to worry about him around the pool. A good-quality highchair and cot were provided for him.
A couple of downsides - the Wifi is quite poor. Will only work downstairs and even then is very slow. Also, there were no spare toilet rolls, so you end up having to buy a pack of 4 when you only need 1. Same with bin bags.
The location was fantastic, Marina Rubicon is lovely and only a 15 minute walk away, along a dedicated footpath along the coast. We did walk to Playa Blanca one day (about 30mins) but it was a very typical tourist spot (English Breakfast/Irish pub) and very busy, so we made a hasty retreat back to the calmness of the marina.
We're very happy we found this little gem and would definitely recommend it.
