Can highly recommend this beautiful apartment we stayed for 9 nights and it was a lovely place to stay.
Wonderful balcony right on the seafront, great spot for people watching whilst sipping a chilled prosecco, walking distance to all the lovely restaurants and shops.
Comfortable rooms and beds lovely nights sleep, air conditioning useful on very hot nights ( you do have to pay for air con but it's very cheap), we only used it at night.
Washing machine and all modern amenities you could wish for. Safe place to stay and nice and quiet. Highly recommended.
We recently spent 3 weeks at this sea front apartment. We were told it was most important to phone the number given us as soon as we left the airport, as they always meet and greet guests at the accommodation. Upon phoning we were just given the code to the box outside to pick up the key. Not impressed. However, I had done quite a lot of research and having been to Lanzarote a couple of times, I knew exactly where the apartment was situated. Very convenient position with no traffic, back or front.
The apartment is very spacious - clean and well decorated. Nice touch to have Miele equipment and marble top in the kitchen. All cleaning materials were supplied. Dishwasher, washing machine tablets, washing-up liquid. You name it and it was probably there. The 2 electric awnings over the balcony were appreciated. Unfortunately, the balcony was not comfortably furnished and definitely not suitable for 4 adults. There were just two of us.
The wifi worked very well - that is, after you enter a passcode of about 25 digits! We had several goes at this, as it wasn't made clear that the alfa was all upper case. We didn't really use the TV as it was too complicated and didn't have the BBC channels we would watch anyway. Our iPads gave us all the TV channels we wanted and kept us in touch with friends and family.
There was no overhead light or even a standard lamp in the lounge. You just have to rely on candles or the light from the dining/kitchen end of the room. For anyone watching TV, or reading from a device with background light, this would not be a problem. A 'proper' book might be more difficult.
Don't get me wrong - this is a great apartment but I think it's good to be aware of the little niggles. Here's another one that may not bother many people. We had just one set of keys. To get to the front door where the bell is situated, you first have to unlock the gate which gives access to both apartments. This makes the door bell a bit useless. One outside the gate would make more sense. When one of us went out alone the other was locked in. Not a good idea. We had friends staying across the road and popping in to see us, was not possible.
I've mentioned about the great equipment but there were no operating instructions. I used my iPad to translate words on the washing machine and dryer. Don't know if it was luck or judgement but worked out well.
I hope I haven't made this place sound like rubbish. It's far from it. Could even be one of the best in Playa Blanca!
