I created an account just to say that this is the best beach at which to go nude IF you want to blend in. Really, you can find naturalists at any beach, for it is Europe after all, but as a beginner, I wanted to find one likely to have the fewest gaping tourists. This is definitely it. It's a very long beach and you can find as secluded a spot as you like! Great waters, too!

Visit the beach bars for great views as the sun sets. You can have a meal or just sip a nice long G & T while taking in the last of the days sun.

We spent a few hours at Son Bou to see whether this was a better beach than either Punta Prima, the closest to our villa, or Binibequer Nou, which was a couple of miles away but one we liked.

The beach itself is easily accessed from the car park, just a short walk and the sunbeds and umbrella cost €15. It took quite a while to walk far enough into the sea to get to a reasonable depth to swim, and the day we visited the waves were quite rough and so it was not easy to swim.

It was busy (mid week in mid-September) but not over crowded and it would not have been too much effort to walk further if we had wanted a bit more space.

Sea is warm, no rubbish, no hawkers, duck pond, nudist area and 3 beach bars to choose from- a very fine beach.

We walked to this town from our hotel in Santo Tomas. It was a brief visit but we saw numerous restaurants and cafes. There was a large sandy beach and overall, we had a good impression of the place
