Me and 11 friends went to Marian on a girls holiday.
Couldnt want anything more really, perfect for a girls holiday. Big, clean rooms with fridge, freezer, cooking stuff ect. Aircon, nice blaconys. Suma the supermarket is two minutes away and has everything you will need,
Big pool and sunloungers, nice bar downstairs to sit for pre-drinks. Safe so you an keep things safe.
Good location, 5 minute walk to the west end, gives you time to eat and sober up on the way back.
Have a toastie in the morning they are really nice !
Go with twenties they'll look after you!

I've recently visited San Antonio with 2 other friends. The Marian is a very small hotel right in the middle of what looks like a town. We got dropped off at the top of the bank and it took about 20 minutes to find our hotel. Anyways, after finding this hotel, it's quite small, but for what you need it's ideal. All rooms are different to one another, we asked for a pool view with a balcony, we got the bottom floor in the corner of the building. There was no ventilation in the room what so ever.
Moving on to the important things. Rooms, cleaned about 3/4 times a week. You get 2 beds and a sofa bed. There's also a separate pull out bed that can be used. You get a fridge, cooking hob with utensils, shower, toilet wash basin, etc you get the gist. The pool area is very acceptable, clean, sun beds always available. The bar area is quite a fun place to be in. The barman during the day is called Fernando. He's a hoot, total perve towards the girls but everyone takes him for what he is. There's supermarkets within a 5 minute walk but if you can't be bothered, foods served until late in the bar, at a reasonable price. Big pints of beer (Estrella) 4 euro, magners and kopparberg 5 euro. If you want vodka redbull, 8 euro (2 of them and you're wasted) 2.50 euro for a 1.5l bottle of water.
Moving on, the strip is about a 5/10 minute walk from this hotel. Try and remember your way though, we spent 14 nights there and still managed to get lost. Try to get your tickets for clubs from the strip and a proper ticket seller, when we were there a group of lads got scammed out of 700 euro. If Luton is still there (20's rep) see him... Doesn't work off commission on tickets, plus a genuinely nice guy.
1 gripe about this hotel. Our first night, we came home at 7/8 in the morning to be greated by the night porter. His name is Alex. He's possibly the most miserable man in Ibiza, and unless you're willing to give him 20 euros per person, you ain't taking any people back that night. Also he called the police on us for making excess noise, end of the day, he's got a job to do and he does it. Try keep him happy and he'll not be as big of a problem. 1 last important thing, 150 euro deposit is required when you get there, with passports. Safe is approx 25 euros. We got it back when checking out though.

Summary... It does what you want it to do. Basic but satisfactory room, nice pool area and bar that serves alright snack food, pizzas till late. Would recommend it, but try not to get into room 109, probably the worst room in the hotel! Strip minutes away. The bay is a 10 minute walk away, supermarkets and restaurants on pretty much every street corner. Ibiza is the best place in the world, if you're a young lad or lass, this is the place to be! Be sure to take plenty money though, £2000 wasn't enough for me in 2 weeks! Have fun!

I stayed here at the Maian Apartments from 11th july to the 18th july 2012 with a group of 7 friends. We had two apartments between us. There was four of us in a one bedroom apartment and 3 in another, on first arrival it was smaller than expeced but plenty big enough for all of us.
The bar and cafe downstairs in the hotel does a wide range of good food at good prices and the drinks are around english pub prices.
We paid 25 euros for a safe which was well worth it. 150 euros is also required as a room deposit. We lost 40 euros from our deposit at the end of the holiday for a dirty towel and pillow cases!! This was ridiculous, so be very careful if you want all of your deposit back.
The pool area is a good size and we never had trouble finding sunbeds at any time of the day. There is also table tennis and two pool tables which the boys made good use of!
There is a large supermarket literally 2 minutes away and the west end is only a 10 minute walk away.
The night porter can be a bit of a pain when you roll in at 6am and he wants to check all your names in the book to check your actually staying there but at the end of the day its for your own safety.
Overall, i would return due to the good value for the rooms and the good location.

Room Tip: If you can, get a room on a lower floor. we were on the 3rd floor and had 6 flights of stairs! It...

Stayed for a week with three other girls the begining of july and had a lovely stay. The pool was better than expected and the rooms are a tidy big size. Definitly would recomend for 18-25 year olds. The beds could have been changed more often but the cleaner did come in to tidy twice when me and my friends were sleeping so maybe we just missed the bed changing days! Overall, it was close enough to the strip and i would like to stay there again for sure.

me and my partner had a GREAT holiday staying here, the rooms were lovely and big and really clean and for the 10 days we stayed there the beds were changed 3 or 4 times with fresh towels all the time, and when we asked for extra pillows they were put it our rooms for us! the pool area is lovely and clean and relaxing to, it all so has a tennis court and a few other things as well. the bar/cafe downstairs has a great drink range and lovely food! the evening bar tender norman is a real gent and such a laugh and great to talk to, and if your feeling hungry on the night time they do pizza's which you can take up to your room if you wish, the chef in the kitchen in the day time is really good to! anything you want he will do for you. the whole apartments are family run and because its only small you get to know every one while staying there which is lovely. its only a 10 minute walk down to the bay and once you'v done it a couple of times its easy enough to find your way around. all so if you want a supermarket there is one literally 2 minutes away and it has everything you would need for your holiday. we had a great holiday staying here and its great value for money and would defiantly recommend this hotel to all my friends and we will be coming back as well.

Stopped here with 3 other mates just wanting the typical lads holiday. I'll admit when the coach first dropped us off we were a bit worried we were in the middle of nowhere but you soon find out that it is within walking distance to everything you need. The rooms are basic but always very clean and the bar staff are always very friendly. We went with Thomson and so therefore had the 2wentys reps who were brilliant catering to our every need and made sure we got the most out of our holiday. Alex the night porter is a bit miserable but just be friendly with him and he shouldn't cause you any problems. The food is basic but cheap and tastes nice which is exactly what we want. Due to it been quite a small hotel you get to know everybody stopping there round the pool during the day. I simply could not reccomend this hotel highly enough.

Room Tip: Just be careful so that you get your deposit back at the end. And get a safe.

Very nice, no problems would stay here again. We are in our 40s and wanted to cycle around the island. The bike hire shop is near by but ask them for a GPS sat nav as the route markings have been removed by some of the locals. Mountain biking round the interior was well rewarded with some spectatcular scenery. The hotel is clean and we never had any problems with idiots ( holiday makers or staff). Facilitiesare very good, clean pool and also squash/tennis courts, both reaonable at 10Euro. Hotel food was limited but good value and tasty. The area is as busy or relaxed as you may want, it all depends on what you want. We found the area on the sunset strip was best for us, near the Budda beach bar/hotel. There is a supermarket near by with good low cost food and drink. I would reccomed the BACH red wine at 3 euro a bottle. We also walked up the beach (away from SA) and found a number of lovely secluded coves and a very nice bar (I think you can get a small ferry to the remote bar) if you keep walking for 2-3 miles you will be rewarded with a stunning rocky out crop which was very beautiful and peaceful. Regular buses into the main city is worth while, also a walk around the old fort in Ibzia old town.
