“''The best place to stay in ibiza''”
Reviewed November 11, 2013

The first time we came to the Mitjorn we met a very friendly guy called Toni, upon checking in we was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of both the hotel as a whole and our room!! We'd been going Ibiza for 5 years at this point and stayed at city central (not so good) then hotel acore (a little better than city central), then hotel fleming, then hotel llvante before we came across the mitjorn. We've now been going to Ibiza for 12 years and we have stayed at the Mitjorn for 7 years running and have recommended all our good friends to the hotel who have in turn revisited the mitjorn and have also recommended friends. The staff are so friendly that they make you feel like family, the food is all hand made/cooked in the kitchen and is delicious, the rooms have air con and the views of the bay are breath taking. Basically I would not stay anywhere else because we have no complaints. The place has everything you need!!!

I stayed in this hotel from 24th August to the 6th September with my partner. I have been to Ibiza nine times , I just wished I had found this hotel before as every time I come back to Ibiza I will be staying here everytime. Its a lovely small hotel and the staff all lovely especially Antonio the guy who works the bar at night he is a lovely guy. The food menu round was good , we only had snacks off the menu as we ate out every night but the chicken roll was lush. During the stay we made friends with most of the other people staying in the hotel and even went on nights out with them. This hotel is ideal for couples and more grown up clubbers not the young kids . Which is lovely and refreashing to have peace and quiet. Hotel is in ideal situation you have got supermarket right on your door step, 4mins from the taxi rank and west end even tho we dont ever go down west end. Under 10 mins walk from sunset bars Mambos, savannah and cafe del mar, and sun sea bar. To get to the other side to go to clubs like space , dc10 etc it will cost 30 euros in the cab but if your a couple you can normally share a cab with other people at the rank and it splits the cost. Rooms decorated well and always had hot water the only thing I would suggest is one more pillow each on the bed and a mini fridge would be perfect. You have tv in the room aswell with english and spanish channels, maids lovely aswell. This is amazing little hotel and loved every moment of my stay here. Hopefully next year we will be able to have a pool view or a harbour view. I would reccomend this hotel to all my firends as it really is fantastic.

Room Tip: Ask for a pool room or harbour room

Loved this hotel and would def go back again! Been to Ibiza 4 times and this is easily the best. Very clean, quiet, family run hotel. You must try antonio's gazpacho and tapas...amazing! Our balcony looked out on the port and was very easy to access port, cafe del mar, ibiza rocks but not too close to the west end :-) wud def recommend it!

I stayed here with a friend between the 3rd - 8th August 2013. We were pleasantly surprised by our room. It was spacious, clean and had a lovely view over the bay. We had a corner room which had a large balcony that looked both over the bay and the pool. The location was brilliant. Within minutes walk of the west end, taxi rank, bus station (5 mins) and Cafe del Mar, cafe Mambo etc.Easy to get transported to the big clubs/playa d'en bossa. Despite its proximity to these places there was no loud noise at night and we did not hear any music from the west end strip. Recommend taking a boat to Cala Bassa beach. Breakfast was nice and coffee made for you. Nice refreshing pool with sun loungers. Free wifi and good food in the hotel. Would return.

This hotal has good location 5 minutes walk to Cafe Del Mar and 5 minutes to the center in the oppisite side. The room is very small and there is no fridge to cool drinks. Also, There is no room service and the only thing it has a small swiming pool and simple food menu. I don't think this hotel works for people whom used to stay in 4 or 5 stars hotels. For me i'll never go back and stay in such a place like this.

Stayed here on a friends recommendation, for two days before our other friends arrived and we moved to the Bellamar in the Bay, This hotel/B&B is situated in the heart of San Antonio, is in a quieter location than other establishments, the hotel is family run and the owner Toni is so friendly & very helpful like all the staff, A San Antonio based location which is fully modern, clean and with a pool, noise level in the eves can be a bit loud but heh you are in Ibiza! Wifi available throughout the establishment, breakfast has a good choice & the bar snack menu has good food to :) couldnt fault this hotel for the monies would recommend this to anyone on a budget

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the stairs

I have just returned from a short romantic break, half of which I spent at the Esmitjorn. The first hotel we stayed in cost three times as much per night as the Esmitjorn but quite honestly wasn't a patch on the place.
It is a small and extremely friendly and relaxed property. Tastefully decorated and absolutely spotless through out we found it be to be a real oasis of calm in the at times madness of San Antoni. The thing that wowed us most of all though was the location and the view. Our (huge) balcony window looked out on to the bay meaning that we woke up every morning to stunning views without leaving our bed. It is also right in the middle of the two best bars in the town, Tulp and the Buddha, with a five minute stroll back from either.
I have come to Ibiza every summer since 1995 and any future trips, romantic or clubbing, to San Antoni will involve a stay at the Esmitjorn.
