we arrived at our hotel in the mornin about 1 30 to check in and get a safe for all our passports and stuff. when we got up to our room i thought it was clean but also quite small but wot do u expect when its cheap. the hotel is really close to the westend and cafe der mar which was gud so u dont have to get taxis. everyday we checked our safe to c if all our stuff was still ther and it woz the whole holiday nothing got stolen or anything because we were a bit worried about wot other reviews said but it was fine all the staff were friendly and so were the reps the only thing i can say bad about this hotel iz our bed sheets did not get changed the whole week and the noice in the mornin off other people running around bangin doors but that not the hotels fault thats the people that stay there! anywez i thought ibiza woz great in the west end av never been so drunk in ma life lol and a wud defo cum bk again and stay in this hotel x p.s dont drink 2 much vodka thats a tip u will regret it in the mornin lol x

I stayed at the Mar Y Vent with my 3 friends for 2 weeks in 2005.
The location the hotel is great, we never needed to get a taxi, or public transport to go anywhere. But this is about the only good aspect of the hotel!
I had to sleep on a tiny camp bed the whole of the holiday which was a bit disappointing as the holiday wasn't that cheap.
Our bed sheets never got changed the whole holiday so during the second week we ended up taking sheets ourselves from the cleaners trolley along with clean towels and toilet rolls.
Our bathroom was really small - not the size you would expect for 4 travellers!
The security guard was always rude except when we were on our way out at night in short skirts!
Even though we got in well after 4am every morning the hotel was never quiet, door bells were constantly being rung and people running around the hotel like school children.
The pool is a small size with limited sun beds so make sure you get there early!
All in all if your looking for somewhere to stay thats near to the west end and some of the clubs then this is the place - but dont expect anything else!

We arrived and waited ages to check in. Lift was broken so we had to carry heavy suitcases to a really high floor. balcony facing nothing although we could see the sunset not much atmosphere. Every morning about 8am got woken up by screaming and stupid doorbells so we unwired ours. Woken up one morning by an angry rep asking if we had set of a fire extingusuer outside our room. Couple or groups of lads lets think. We wanted a party holiday but the rooms were alful the bathroom was skanky and the reps had no idea but had favourites.

Got electrocuted by a dogey plug which put me in shock for a whole night so cudn;t go out.

The holiday itself was great but this hotel was rubbish

Right, if your looking for top class then this aint it, but if your looking for a cheap and cheerful apartment in ibiza then you got it.
Its located just beside cafe del mar / savannah and is about 10minutes walk to the westend (like thats a good thing!!).
As far as reps go, well when you book a holiday in ibiza, there are always going to be reps hassling you, just ignore them and they will go away!
Food aint up to much, but just walk down to nandos in bar M and your sorted!!

Were do i start, as soon as you get in the door of the apartment block you have a club rep pouncing on you trying to fob you off with a planned week out with them for 169 euro trying to persuade you to buy with free drinks, my advise is tell them to shove it, u have a better time in the west end with your free drinks and shots in 99.9% of the clubs anyway. When we did eventually get into our rooms, it was clean enough and we started settling in and off we went out with the reps. Second day in ibiza we'd just came back from the beach to find that al r money and phones had been stolen, yet no sign of forced entry and the balcony door was still locked, hmmm abit strange dont you agree, even better the manager didnt seem to be slightest bit interested that guests in his building had jus had al there belongings stole and pointed us in the direction of the wrong police station, helpful or what? At are meeting on the first day we were told thers 2 keys to the apartments we get one and the cleaners get the other, by the end of the holiday we had 3 keys to ourselves and strangely enough the cleaners wer stil walkin into our rooms at ridiculous times trying to "clean". So anyway on the 4th day of being in ibiza we'd decided to go shopping with what little money we had left put together only to come back to see our other friends shoutin from the balcony to come up quick. When we got up they told us we'd just been robbed again while there were standin on the balcony and strangely enough my friend jus happened to have gone to the reception in the place that day to get travellers checks changed, yet again the manager didnt care it seemed like he almost expected to hear it (coincidence) on our last night there we had al gone out with the friends we'd made on our floor and arrived back about 7am this time everyone on the floor had been robbed, all the passports, money even clothes had been stolen. So i had said to the manager that when we got locked out and came an asked for another room key, he didnt ask my name to see if i was actually staying in that room and his reply was that they had passport copies of everyone that was staying in each room, ok fair enough. So i had said to a mate that had his passport stole not to worry and that the reception had a photocopy of his passport to which he replied no they never took copies of any of our passports. So evidently the manager was talkin thro his backside, right from the very start. I would recommend everyone to go to Ibiza, the westend is brilliant but just avoid these apartments al together, there was 6 of us on holiday for a week and during this week a total of 6 robberys took place that we were aware of.
