Being slightly older than the average San Antonio tourist my accomodation expectations were not too high but on arriving here I was amazed. The room on the 4th floor (premium accomadation) was excellent. Very modern, clean, air conditioned and with a plasma tv no less!
The surprises kept coming in the restaurant with an excellent selection of food which was never dissapointing.
The hotel was great!

Room Tip: Pay the little extra for a premium room

I stayed here for two week in July AGAIN, although I was on my own the staff especially Lo_Lo made me feel at home, absolutely love this hostal. Only thing that I would advise about is if your room on arrival has no balcony do not hesitate to ask for a room that as, the staff will change your room no problem. The thing about this place is the street, it's got a really good vibe about it, AND THE SHIP INN IS JUST A 5 MINUTE WALK UP THE ROAD WHICH IS A GOOD PLACE TO USE AS YOUR LOCAL, EQUALLY THE STAFF THERE ARE SOUND AS WELL........DEFO RECOMEND THIS PLACE.........

I stayed here in July/August 2012 for the Radio 1 Weekend. On arrival we were allocated a room with no balcony (although requesting one via email) so before we went out we asked to be swapped, as it was late at night they promised us one the next morning. As promised they gave us another room with a balcony and they moved all our stuff for us why we went to the beach. The room was small but enough for us both and very clean! rooms were cleaned every day and everything was safe! Our balcony was small but looked onto the front street so great for people watching. the reception was large and clean and the restaurant within the hotel was brilliant, as we didn't want to eat down there we got a take out for our rooms no problem. we never visited the pool as we had friends at another hotel so just used the beach, but it looked a decent size. The was a shop across road which had all the essentials, fresh water was needed as we had no fridge in the room. The hotel offered free WIFI which was good when trying to contact our friends! It was a 7 minute walk to the west end and about a 13 minute walk to the beach. After a night out we got lost a few times walking home and it is not safe around them areas so I would suggest getting a taxi from the designated taxi rank like we did. It is around the corner from the Ibiza rocks hotel, If it is your first time in Ibiza I would suggest staying closer to the beach as it is a lot more convenient! Overall a great time and the hotel was lovely, clean and safe!

Room Tip: Ring or email beforehand for a balcony room!

We arrived in the early hours of the morning, we was sent to the wrong room which resembled a small panic room from a horror film. Finally was moved to a new 'larger' room with ' balcony' which overlooked a exterior wall and two other bedrooms and the hotel kitchen!!

The room service was poor, we had to reuse the same towels for 3 days! Also when they did finally clean the rooms it was more like turning the pillows over and reusing the sheets. Proof of that was of my friends red hair dye still on the other side of the pillow.

We went at peak season June 22, and we find our air con didn't work.... We ask for it be fixed and it hardly worked apart from when it blew hot air! Put it this way we couldn't wait to go home.

There was a small tv that worked with only 1 channel that was a Spanish animal mating channel 24 7 .

I wouldnt recommend to a friend.

Me and my 2 friends have stayed in this hotel 3 times now every time we have been to Ibiza and would go back again. Really friendly staff especially Lolo bless him who works in the resturant which is really nice food & would definatly recommend their slushes ;). Rooms; first time we went was still decent rooms but quite smaill for 3 of us, but risked it and went back again, the second time room was really spacious for 3 of us and very clean and cleaned every day with fresh bedding. Beds are really comfy and hot water is always available.Very close to all shops and the sister hotel to this san fransico apartments. Also 5minute walk from cafe mambo, west end & the 2 beaches. Would definatly recommend to all different parties visiting ibiza. Ignore any bad reviews & book it!!

AUGUST 2011. Stayed with a mate, a last minute booking. If your after a very lively hotel then look elsewhere. I think its perfect for a clubbing holiday in small groups (4 max). Its clean and serves good food and drink downstairs. 5min walk to the west end, 10min to the egg.
Rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels and bedding which I have heard is rare for Ibiza.
Its not noisy during the day when your recovering which is a bonus. But the pool is quite small and is sheltered from the sun due to the elevated sun terrace. Me and my friend just went round to the Hotel Tropical and used their pool.
All in all a great place to stay and excellent value.

Myself and my sister stayed here for 3 nights at the end of September. The price was absolutely amazing and so we didnt get our hopes up! However, for the price, this place was FANTASTIC!!! If you are going to Ibiza to experience the night life and you dont plan to do anything other than change and sleep - this is the perfect place!

The rooms are clean and are cleaned daily! The only downfalls were that we didnt have a balcony or view, (the windows were frosted as they overlooked other rooms) and the walls are thin - we regularly played our music loudly as we could very clearly hear the couple in the next room...

We ordered a pizza one night for 5 euros and it was as good as anything ordered on the strip! The hotel staff are friendly and helpful and it is only a short walk to the popular West End, maybe 10 minutes. Cafe Mambo is about a 20 min walk and we had no problems getting anywhere.

This may not be a suitable hotel for a family, or a couple looking for a quiet experience, but I never had trouble sleeping and it was perfect for our situation. We had a great break.

I would probably ask for a balcony next time, but would definately stay here again!!

Room Tip: Make sure you ask for a room with a balcony!
