“A superb heavenly surprise”
Reviewed September 17, 2013

We were recommended to eat at Tapas by a friend in the UK before arriving in Ibiza and after walking down what can only be described as a slightly remote and off the beaten track lane we were nearly disappointed because we were asked if we'd booked at this busy little oasis. Fortunately they found space for us and we had a wonderful meal from the slightly eclectic menu. Certainly some of the best Tapas and certainly some of the best service on the island as it is run by and English couple with very high standards. This place really is a must if you like tapas food and good service all at a very reasonable price.

“A must if in san antonio!”
Reviewed September 16, 2013

Read about this place online so decided to go during our 2 week stay. The restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous, its romantic, loved that it was all open air, i just loved this restaurant! The dishes we had were mostly good, prawns were great, however quite small, and you did not get a lot, when I go back i'll order 2. Stuffed chicken was gorgeous. However the marinated chicken was not nice at all, tasted very tomatoey and just not a nice tast, also the cajun potato skins werent nice at all, they were so so thin but had so much cajun spice on thats all you could taste, needed to be thicker with less seasoning, would not get them again. Service was absolutley great. Waiters/waitresses/bar staff were great and all friendly and smiley. Will definitely return here, a must if your in san antonio/san antonio bay. Thankyou for a great night tapas, see you next year!

“Great little chilled out place off the beaten track”
Reviewed September 16, 2013

The restaurant is located by going down the side of linekars, past burger king, over the road and a few minutes down a dirt road.

As we were half board we went to find this place after dinner and a few drinks. Despite been after 11pm the place was still buzzing with people.

found the restaurant very relaxing. its not too big inside but then has a great outdoor area with tables scattered far enough apart to give you some privacy but still feel part of the crowd.
There is also a seperate patio area for people to chill out with a few drinks.

We visited twice just for drinks. Had a gorgeous large white wine sangria each and a plate of bread and aioli with olives (bloody gorgeous) for around 12 euro (£10)
Despite only having a drink the first two times we were there we were still treat like valued customers.
Went back for food on our last night and had the two drinks, the bread and ailoi again and then belly pork (beautiful) beef tagine, chilli fishcakes and the deep fried brie (to die for). bill came to 41 euros. finished off with a shot (on the house) nice touch!
service was great!! waitress explained there was a wait on the food but we were wanting to kick back and relax anyway.
All the service staff we encountered were very cheery, bright and bubbly despite been constantly run off their feet but despite how busy this place gets the atmosphere always feels relaxed!!!

“High expectations, but disappointed”
Reviewed September 15, 2013

We went to this restaurant with high expectations, but left a bit disappointed with the tapa dishes we had. The service was excellent, the desert dishes very good and the Rioja wine was also good. The main tapa dishes we ordered was a bit of a let-down, prawns in garlic tasted and looked like they had come out of a super market packet, smallest prawns I have been served in any restaurant, I was expecting succulent king prawns not tiny little tasteless prawns sitting in hot garlic oil. The beef tagine was defiantly not an authentic beef tagine cooked in Moroccan spices, and the belly pork was 3 thin slices of pork, with a rind of cracking on the side. The Potatas Bravas, sounded nice, but was bland and the thick tomato sauce tasted like a bad jar of bolognaise you would use to knock up a quick spagbol with. I have been to many tapa restaurants throughout Spain and London and found the food here very ordinary and lacking authenticity for a Spanish tapas restaurant. The restaurant itself is designed around a court yard and an old traditional Ibiza house, but that’s where it ends when it comes to authentic Spanish tapas. We have been to a few restaurants in San Antonio and found them quite poor in this part of Ibiza, might have something to do with the clientele San Antonio attracts, young kids on their first holiday without the parents, who’s idea of fine dining is a bag of chicken nuggets from burger king and a large fizzy drink. Much better authentic restaurants in the north of the Island and Ibiza town.

“Great food, will definately be going back next year!”
Reviewed September 13, 2013

We we're in Ibiza for 10 nights after 8 nights partying we decided to try out some of the nice restaurants, kinda like a couple of chillout days and we found this little place off the beaten track, it's 5 minutes walk from Linekers bar but you walk down a dirt track road... once you get there, it's great atmosphere and more what you would expect from a proper restaurant. We went back twice as the food was too good, we left totally full, cleaned off about 10 plates of tapas haha will be back next year, we loved it!
