It’s a hidden gem, a hideaway, a chill and relaxing atmosphere!

Booked Hotel Bellamar for 8night's and one word could describe the hotel- totally Amazing and beat my expectations. I have had many hotel nights over the past years, in my work both 4 and 5 stars. When you arrive at the hotel it has a perfect location at a quiet side street with beautiful pine trees and flowers, it welcomes you with a very nice night porter (arrived at night 2am) and the check in is warm and welcoming.

Elevator up to the room, and the room had a balcony view overlooking the bay and the sea with an – Amazing view! Just open the door and smell the Spanish herbs and look out over the green/ blue ocean and the sunset and sunrises of the bay. Wake up and “smell the coffee”

The room is quiet, spacious and had very comfortable bed with a good size. A constant air condition and good enough to adjust to the temperature you just want in end July. Good freeze on the mini fridge, nice bathroom with comfy towels and a hot shower with bathtub, everything you need, electronic safe and not at last: Spotless and exceptionally clean, cleaned every day. The Maids are discreet, friendly and always with a warm smile!

The reception will make your day with and is very professional, friendly and helpful. They can help you with everything, and they have a very warm and relaxing service minded way to make you enjoy the hotel and the surroundings.

The hotel is a gem, a great place to relax and chill out. With a clean, gorgeous pool area with a sea – view and the pool bar the “Bar Carrer Retir” with the 4 Señores who can mix what you want to drink, a smooth drink, cocktail or a real espresso. They also serve small dices and snacks. The service & quality is outstanding, professional and they can’t do enough for you.

The breakfast is quiet, with a huge choice, good selection of all you can wish for. You find some, both warm and cold dishes, fresh with a good quality. I just had half board, but had dinner one night and good quality and selection of wine.

The SPA area is chill and relaxing, had a massage and a pool with massage and a Jacuzzi. They also have different saunas and a wide selection of treatments.
From the pool – area there about 35 feet from down to a little patio with a supermarket with a big selection of drinks, Serrano, ice- cream etc. The beaches is aprox.60 feet, just fly over the little street with crystal clear water, suits everybody. Sourrdings is easy, quiet end pleasant, everything lies lined up for a perfect holiday.

To town you take the ferry approx 200 feet from the hotel by the promenade or take the walk along the beach. Remember to drink enough water when you stay, the temperature is high usually with a big sun 12” – o clock. Place nearby you might visit: Sunset bars: Kumharas, Linekers bar, Café del mar, Café Mambo, El Restaurante Koppas, (don’t miss the “pizza fungi”). In Eivissa town: Barrish, Spanish/ Italian hacienda/ restaurant. Pacha - numbero Uno nightclub. And the old city with Ca N’ Alfredo, Spanish restaurant and Estatua del Sagrado Corazón de Jesús (Statue of Christ)

The hotel is a gem, when you break down the pieces it comes to: The service in the hotel is outstanding, not pretentious and just pure professional fun with the pride to work at the Hotel Bellamar. 4* hotel but 5* stylish craftsmanship.Mixed with a perfect location, chill and relaxing atmosphere. Just enjoy .-)

Our room at Bellamar did not overly impress us, but it was "nice"... and very clean. The view was wonderful (had balcony view overlooking the bay). The bedroom is very spacious, and the bathroom is functional, if not "roomy".

I'm never a fan of the "two twin beds pushed together" Beds... but our room had that. However, it was surprisingly very comfortable. I'm not sure if because we were always so exhausted or what, but I slept like a baby on this bed. :)

The one word of advice I have is "bring your own soap and shampoo"... because they only provide 2 tiny packets of shampoo and shower gel each. I'm not quite sure how two people are supposed to take a whole shower with that little amount, but then again I'm from USA where we waste so much - perhaps that's the deal. All I know is that we had to conserve like crazy and each precious drop was like GOLD!

I've given Bellamar a high rating because even though I don't sound overly enthusiastic, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with them. The staff is not pretentious and very helpful. The rooms comfortable. The food plenty good (only had breakfast once). The location awesome. The view great.

On the back of some excellent reviews on here we chose this hotel as a last minute break, booking just 4 days before flying out on the 2nd August. The reviews were spot on; the hotel is clean, welcoming, well appointed and with really good food. There was plenty of sunbeds available and a 9am opening for the pool prevents the usual idiots that we have encountered on other Med holidays putting towels out at 7.30am and not returning until after lunch.
Our disappointment rests with the resort which, compared to our last visit here 10 years ago, looks tired and jaded. The beach was not particularly clean - we saw plenty of litter and cigarette ends etc. on the tide line. Worse was the open drug dealing on the excellent new walkway from the bay to the town centre. We expected some of this behavior around the clubs but not at 8pm on the walkway. We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a bit of quality and the slightly higher price against other hotels was well worth it. We came back refreshed and rested. Just wish that they could move it to a nicer location !!

We decided to honeymoon in ibiza because this is where we met seven years ago. wanted something a bit more upmarket than 18-30's and Bellamar beat all our expectations. we had the superior room with a jacuzzi bath and a excellant view of the sunset on the top floor. The owner of Lineker's bar was staying there too. Went out to Linekers bar one night, saw him and Gary Lineker there. Spa was nice and relaxing, food was brilliant and the staff were very friendly and helpfull. Pool isn't huge but the sea across the road is crystal clear and full of fish. the west end is a bit of a walk away around the bay. Not so far away in the other direction is a sports bar with crazy golf. Other good places to eat out are the tulip cafe and the orange corner.

Over the past few years, I always referred to Tripadvisor before booking a trip away. Thought it was about time I put a review on.
A few famililies (With teenagers) stayed in 3 different hotels in San Antonio Bay. We stayed in the Bellamar. It was by far the best. The hotel was spotless, the food was excellent, the pool area imaculate and you could always get a sunbed. The staff are excellent, so friendly and always eager to help. The Bellamar was a great place to relax and chill out. This hotel may be a bit dearer than some, but for us it was worth it.

This hotel was amazing. The rooms were exceptionaly clean and was cleaned every day by the great cleaners. The interior of the room was excellent it had mini fridge, hair dryer etc. The pool was gorgeous and the waiter service by the pool was great. The padded sun loungers added extra class to an already amazing hotel. Myself and boyfriend were mainly there for the clubbing but whatever time we got back to the hotel we were always greeted with a friendly smile by the staff. The location of the hotel is brilliant it's about 15min walk away for San antonio town which is good for relaxing! The hotel is for mainly older couples as we seen no children or gangs of teenagers! This hotel is amazing and I would recommend it to everyone.. Perferct location perfect hotel adds to a perfect holiday.

We had a lovely week at the Bellamar, However unforyunately on our 5th day a rowdy crowd of over 20 tattood, loud, rude, men arrived and swore and drank constantly. They were quite intimidating! Up until their arrival it was heavenly! Nice and quiet, staff SO polite and helpful, good clean beach over the road. Not much happening in the hotel itself... but this Is Ibiza so you can fiind something to do! The hotel was so clean and much nicer than some of the neighbouring hotels. Great vies and nice food. Restaurant staff are just so polite and nice.
We stayed up far too late on a few occasions and didn't manage breakfast but just up the road is the Funky Lizard, which does a great Brekkie! Carl and Maddie (who own the place) Are amazing and will make you feel SO welcom, especially if you take them some crumpets!!! It's a fab Karaoke bar, and they tended to stay open as long as we were drinking! I think it was 4 or 5 am one night.
Over all I wouldn't rate Ibiza as it was dirty and over priced but the Bellamar was probably the best hotel out of a bad lot and The Funky Lizard is well worth a visit! If you go tell them Coylah And Nick say Hi!!!
