“oh my god...amazing!!! :)”
Reviewed September 12, 2008

me and my friend stayed at this hotel last week, got back yesterday morning and the only word to describe this holiday was amazing!! we had a few minor problems when we arrived, we requested a high floor but was out on the ground floor, which worked out better in the end cuz we just hopped over the balcony to our sunbeds :) it was a great convo started cuz pepole over the corridor would knock and walk through! the maids are very grumpy and one told us off for the mess, she gave us 5 minutes to wash our pots too!! some reviews conplained about the reception staff but we found them very helpful, by the end of the week they knew our room number as we complained alot about our cooker! top tip...dont get the hob plates wet from the sink as it will blow the fuse in your apartment!
the atmosphere in the hotel is wicked, there is a live dj playing everyday and it gives you such a buzz for the night ahead.
id recomend doing es paradis for the water party as it was one of the best nights! dont take no phones or cameras as the water comes up to your chest! eden is another amazing club...judgement sundays is a must!!
we had a room by the main pool and the music does wake you. i took ear plugs so it wasnt too bad! but your in ibiza..you dont need to sleep! in a week we got 19hrs sleep!! be prepared to go bed at 8 am and be up at 11am!
the west end is only a 5min walk away although we got quite confused walking back after the night out! you will get hassaled by pr's but just tell them you are looking round and they arnt too bad! we went to a bar called 'that bar' 6 times, one of the best to get you drunk!! and the pr's there are great :)
take a stroll down to 'bar m' before you go amnessia..get a stamp and hop on the disco bus for free..then off to manumission for another amazing night...girls wear flip flops not heals!! we learnt the hard way!!
do take a mosquito plug with you as we got bit up alot! on our last day we chilled by the quiet pool on big 4 poster sunbeds for a last minute snooze before the flight! it is nice by that pool but abit boring! all in all an absolutly amazing holiday..the best one ive had by far! will definately be going back next year but for longer!! feeling rather depressed to be home but im already looking for prices :) see you all there!! xxxx

WELL...where do i start??? Check is was fast, room was ready, i really did dread getting there after reading reviews of people not getting their room until hours after arriving.
Hotel itself looks clean and well presented upon arrival, UNTIL we opened the door to our room, the list was endless for the rep, and the worst thing about our room...and anyone who has stayed in 125 will know...there were about 10-15 holes in the ceiling above the shower. Now, you know deep down that its another room above you and that they wont have holes in their floor looking down on you...but why the hell were they there? Other guests obviously felt the same as some had (unsuccessfully) tried to fill them with loo roll....unnerving to say the least. The living/bedroom area had a huge damp patch on the ceiling spreading down the wall...i could go on forever!
Me and my partner do like going out...dont get me wrong...but not until 7-7.30 in the morning which is what alot of the people on our side of the hotel were doing. It seemed to be full of groups of blokes who wanted to see how much beer they could drink and how many women they could bed. It was awful listening to them shouting obscenities to the women walking on the street, and calling them s**ts if they didnt answer or gave them as good as they got.
Around the pool was dirty, and the actual pool was jus as bad, each time we got out of the pool we stank, and needed to shower, and at this moment in time we are awaiting the drs verdict on our rash that we have since got from being there.
It was that bad that we actually spent £250 on tickets to come home early.
Apart from the bad bits, the hotel is in a good place in san antonio, pretty much at the top of the west end, and across from Cafe del Mar etc.
I would NEVER recommend this hotel, or ever consider going back to it.

I have rated this above average but thats on my experience of Ibiza as well but still have complaints about the hotel. The room we had was excellent, we could see the pool if we wanted but had 2 balconys one of them massive and away from the pool side, everyone who came in the room were gutted their rooms were tiny with no real beds. The pool!!!! There is a constant wiff of [--] every 10 mins and the same with the reception, its ridiculous. when you go in the pool and back out your skin smells of god knows what. The people around the pool are great for having a laugh at it, everyone is constantly off their heads. The music is banging at the pool but best goin to the beach to avoid the smell of [--].

The reception staff are so slow, you have to pay for anything around the pool with your hotel room card so you add €50 to it buy a coke and go back for something else, they tell you there's no money on it!!! It's an absolute rip off (€6 for a blue wkd, supermarket sells then for €2).

Read the rules and the list of rubbish they say you have in your room apparently you get a love pack, if you don't get it ask what it is hehe!!!

To be honest i probably would stay in this smelly place again but only because all my friends would be as well...

Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have stayed at this hoted twice before and believe me it was the best hotel i have ever stayed in ibiza...
The music would be pumping by 10am,ready for just coming around after the night before, but this year i was VERY diissapointed!....
Music never started playing till gone 12pm afternoon-and then sometimed never!!..A dis grace!Wat a let down since the name has changed.

We arrived at our hotel at 10.30am,then was told we would get our room at 2pm, then to our sissapointment AGAIN we never got a room until 6.30pm because the room hadnt been cleaned!!!!

Our towels and sheets had only been changed ONCE the entire stay which i think is dis-gusting after the money which i spent on the holiday!!

Club paraiso was much better than this stupid IBIZA ROCKS!!After paying all that money 2 stay in the hotel, when they have live bands like 'reverend and the makers' they demand u pay 40euro's or you can't watch!I'd never go back 2 this hotel again!!!

For first timers to Ibiza and indeed this hotel i will try to cram everything u need to know. Basically this hotel is not for people who need their sleep! There was just my boyfriend and i 22 and 23, probably the only couple in the hotel but dont let that put u off if you are in a couple.

It is a hotel which has guests arriving all hours of the day everyday, so when u arrive be expected to wait for you room. We waited 2 hours which wasnt too bad, others waited all day. Most people seemed to think the reception staff were miserable however we felt they were incredibly helpful. Nobody in Spain seems to do anything quckily so like i said be prepared to waith for EVERYTHING! My bag got stolen and the man at reception at 5am couldnt be anymore helpful along with the woman in the morning who phone the British Embassy for us as my boyfriends passport had been taken.

The hotel is like no other, the reception are is modern with x-boxes all around and one which you can even change the music on. The Electric bar by the pool has more x-boxes, a stage and comfy booths. There are around 8 computers which cost 1 euro for 10 minutes, pool table and 2 pools. We didnt go in the chill out pool because it was so funny at the main pool. Entertainment was provided for us...by the guests. This hotel is not for the faint hearted. I am somebody who loves luxury, peace etc. this was the opposite but i enjoyed it to the max. The pool area can get a bit crowded. You are not supposed to take your own food round the pool etc but i did and nobody saw me!

Indeed the music is blasting all day, but its not as bad as some people make out. it doenst start til after dinner time and if people are still in bed by then, well that's their fault, they are in Ibiza! I could complain about our room, we were given one with a bit of a boring view, VERY dodgy plugs and lights, no microwave which we wer supposed to have and our balcony light didnt work. ANd there are no beds as such. You have to sleep on a couch! But all of that doesnt matter when you are here.

With it being Ibiza Rocks, the Courteeners were there when we were. They performed by the pool and did an amazing set. I would have liked it to be based more around indie music but it still seems to cater for the dance/trance crowd. But again, it was still all good. If anyone buys Ibiza Rocks tickets before you go, dont bother with V.I.P. Waste of money, get a better view by the stage. People say the reps were quite pushy but we didnt find that at all. It was actually us that went to buy a ticket from them!

Lads i would behave in this hotel. Security are ok with you if you behave., We saw people get thrown out and somebody had been beaten up quite badly. All in all Ibiza Rocks is a fabulous place for an all girls/all lads holiday. If you are a couple like us, it's still a great place to stay. Yes it is noisy all hours but when you are so drunk and tired it doesnt matter. Another point to make is that you get a key card for your room which you have to put money on to pay for things. During the gigs, you also need to buy tokens for drinks which cost 5 euros. Bit of a rip of really when some drinks only cost 3. Dont tell anyone, but if you are staying on the hotel, just buy a drink, take the cup back to your room and fill it up with your own ale! There is an Ibiza Rocks shop on site with clothes starting from 35 euros and a supermarked which has ALL you could need. all the best British brands, and even bottle openers etc.

The hotel is 4 minutes walk from Cafe Mambo etc. Watching the sunset here is a must! Take your own drinks and just chill. I would also recommend buying a few club tickets before you fly out. Not only is it an easy way to get rid of PR's by telling them you have already bought them but when when you get to your club you can queue jump or go to the guest list queue. An absolute must is Cream and Amnesia and Judgement SUndays at Eden.

If like me you need to go to the police station, they are in a word USELESS! they dont speak much English and find it funny. If you are unlucky enough to have your passport stolen, try and make a note of the number before hand and also keep all reciepts for when you have changed money etc. The British Embassy is open irregular hours so you have to phone first.

I think i have mentioned most things. This may have been a long review but i wanted to stress to people who have never been Ibiza before that it wont be what you expect. I prefer lazy holidays with sightseeing, boat trips etc. I did none of that here but drink, go clubbing and sleep and i loved every minute. It is definitely one place you have to go before you're too old! And Ibiza Rocks is the place to do it.

Recently returned back from this hotel, have to say i agree with the review underneath this one, definately for the faint hearted, then again neither is Ibiza!
I am planning on using this hotel again next year when i go back, it has a great location and is a 5/10 minute walk from the west home, not too far to walk home in the morning after a mad night out!
Staff at the hotel are miserable and have disgusting attitudes and need to learn how to smile!i was not impressed when me and my friends came in around 8am and decided to sit in a lounge type area by our room and we were told to move as they wanted to clean!its a 18-30's hotel and id paid money to stay there and im bein told to move???!!!although the amount of times i saw the reception bein shouted at,its harldy a wonder they arent very happy!
Rooms are dated and arent like the rest of the hotel, but they were clean and to be honest how much time do you spend in there anyway?
The hotel and pool area have really good atmosphere's, everyone there is there to have fun!
All in all i would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great hotel base and a wicked holiday! And i you've not been to Ibiza before, get on the plane and get there, you'll never want to come home!

This hotel promised to be many things and booking it through the ibiza rocks website we had high hopes. The lobby and reception areas are amazing, the hotel is sponsored by xbox and samsung, so a lot of the areas are pimped out big time.
The rooms and studios let it down slightly as once in them you could have been in any apartment block, the decore was old and not trendy like the areas downstairs - not a major problem but just didnt seem like the two tied together.
Do not get a room facing the noisy pool - or Ibiza Rocks stage if you ever want to sleep, we would come in around 6am or 7am and LOADEST music ever started playing at 10 or 12 every day, not good.
Security is only tight on gig nights, rest of the time people have a free rein of the place, pool is meant to be closed 8pm-8am - again not the case, every night there were parties and people in the pool - crazy!

Generally it isnt a bad hotel, but being that its branded Ibiza rocks I would have thought it would have been a bit more indie or rock focused, pretty well all music played at pools was dance, and house. Great first impression, but as week wore on, not as impressed with hotel as had hoped.
