“why go on holiday to moan?”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 17, 2011

Me and my father have just returned from 9 nights here. We went slighty worried given the reviews. However I was very pleased with the service we got.

Firstly the staff, there is one woman on reception (normally during days) who is the only one I found a problem with on the front desk. The rest speak good english, try to help as best as possible, polite and try to have a laugh with you.

Food, well there is something there for everyone. There is pasta, fish meat, salad and a mix of chips/onion rings / spring rolls etc. The breakfast was typical hotel style. Cereal and cooked. However the full english option is bizarre in out of our stay only one day was the sausage actually a english sausage the rest being a hot dog style!

The staff in the room are very rude. There is one waitress with black hair and she is very polite and courtious. The older ones are very disrespectful. The male not so much as the older women. They speak their native toungue to you regardless of your nationality. The way they go about the entering when wet policy is a touch of sexual harrassment and rarelyyy do you get a bye back when your are curtious to them.

The bar is a strange one. You can get a drink with out ice in if you ask. Toni is always polite and has a joke with you and a talk. Jesus the younger of the staff was polite smiling and also up for a bit of banter. The same goes for another older member of the staff whose name I did not remember. The two drinks policy in the cups really needs to be reviewed as you spend half the night queueing for drinks!

Entertainment wise there isn't really any. During our stay we got 3 hours worth of entertainment on the stage over 3 nights. Things like a quiz, karaoke, bingo etc wouldn't go a miss.

The room was what we needed, tho the tv is awful high up! haha. They are spacious, cool, big bathroom, great views of the bay and the pool. The pools in the hotel are well maintained and you have the typical hunt for the lounger if you do not get down early! The hotel on a whole was spotless and tidy.

If the entertainment side was sorted I would recommend this hotel without a doubt! I found the people who moaned seemed to pick out on everything. Some complained about noise yet they were at the bar til 1am them selves laughing and screaming for example. People seemed to go on holiday just to find something to complain about. I have stayed in 4 hotels on the bay and I reckon this is joint top with the hotel next door - Rosamar.

Me and a friend have just spent 10 nights at this hotel and had an awful experience. We were all inclusive and we both became ill after eating the food. For the last part of the holiday we ended up eating out and felt much better for it although it was not something that we had budgeted for. We heard lots of other guests also commenting on the food and often saw other all inclusive guests out at restaurants. The walls are really thin and you can hear everything. The rooms were clean but they were very basic and uncomfortable. The bar staff were very unfriendly and put us off approaching the bar. The portions are tiny and the staff seemed to resent the fact that guests were ordering drinks or going up more than once. We heard several other guests complaining about comments made to them by the staff. To use the internet or get bottled water from the machines you need change, which you could sometimes get from Reception depending on who served you. The only friendly members of staff were Joanna on Reception who was always friendly and helpful and a couple of cleaners. When we first arrived we asked if they had any maps of the local area. We were told 'No' by the gentleman on Reception and that was all the help we were given. We later found some leaflets in the Reception area with maps on. I know this is a budget hotel but I have never experienced problems like this on any other holiday. Overall the staff were unhelpful and rude and staying at this hotel was awful and really ruined our holiday. I would definitely recommend looking elsewhere in Ibiza even if it means paying more money as I feel like we wasted ours on this place

Me and friend stayed he for week in September. After reading reviews we were unsure of what to excpect.
On arrival we were given a clean and comfortable room, and greeted by a a friendly lady on reception.
The food in the restraunt is ok a little repetitive but all-inclusive always is. There was plenty there though and it was always hot. I heard a lot of people complaining about the food. But if you want 5* the pay for it and go some where else.
Rooms, you can hear next door through a cupboard in the bathroom. Once the bathroom door is shut it's ok. After all your in Ibiza except people to be having fun!!
People called the bar staff but we found them very nice and Toni, and Jesus made us very welcome.
Also Jordi who works on reception was Lovley and really looked out for us.
Our room was cleaned everyday and our maid was Lovley.
We left thing lying around in the room all the time and nothing ever went missing.
I think this is good value for money and only a water taxi away from the main night life, however some good bars in the bay try peppers bar.

I went with my girlfriends and husband, 6 of us. The receptionists were polite, hotel was very clean. We had room serviced everyday our cleaner was lovely so friendly (we were on 1st floor). The restaurant staff were friendly it was very clean, we were all inclusive so the food was nice nothing flash just what you would expect from a 3*.
OK now for the bar staff! Rude, no manners, ignorant we were not at all impressed by them and they ruined our stay. They made us feel very uncomfortable everytime we went for an alcoholic drink at bar. No smiles, no thank you just slammed drinks down on bar along with a dirty look and they were mumble to each other in spanish!! Very rude un-professional. There was people complaining about them everywhere around the pool. I myself has never been a fan of drinking during the day but the rest of the group was, i still got treated with the same disrespect. You got your drink in a 'small' plastic cup with two large icecubes in, amaging how many times you would be back and forth to bar only to be made uncomfortable. Why do we go all inclusive?? For free food AND DRINK. The restraurant staff weren't complaining of our food portions so why complain if we want to drink during day?? Its what us brit's do on a holiday! It wasn't exceptable it was an all inclusive holiday which by mid week we'd had enough and spent money in other places.
Just to also comment this is the first out of many holidays ive put a complaint on trip advisor only because our holiday was spoilt.

We were 2 girls going to Ibiza for a girly holiday but I was a bit worried having read previous reviews and thought we would be turning up to a dump but on arrival the receptionist was lovely, the room was spotless. We went straight to the bar for a drink expecting a monster but Toni and the staff behind the bar were fanastic and made us feel welcome. Jordi on reception was also a great member of staff.

The food is OK but you get what you pay for, breakfast was best and yes there is a lot of repetition but they have to cater for everyone which will always mean a pasta dish, rice dish and fish/meat dish. We missed a meal one day and paid to eat at the bar and the food was lovely. We had no issue whatsoever with the restaurant staff as we didnt turn up wet....who would do that anyway!

Our room was cleaned everyday and towels changed and the cleaning team were lovely ladies, got a fab hug and kiss from them when we left! We often left money, phones, ipods etc and absolutely nothing went missing - dont worry about that.

The only issue is the noise from the rooms next door but this is due to a cupboard in the bathroom mainly...keep the bathroom door shut and it is not so bad. At the end of the day its Ibiza not Alcudia so there are always going to be groups of people looking for some fun.

Location is great, there are some local bars and restaurants but the water taxi is only 5 mins walk and a taxi into San Antonio is no more than 10 euros.

The hotel was grim with broken beds on the landing ! The food was bad unrecognisable at times ? Unless you like chips ? Some looked like dog food ! The only meal which was ok was breakfast if you like hot dogs ! The pools looked ok didn't use them ! The beach isn't far but you pay 20 euros for two loungers the queue for two drinks is soul destroying when one bar man is obviously thrilled to serve (not!) no more that two drinks at a time and one tiny ice cream allowed per person on all inclusive it's ok it's tasteless anyway ! Don't waste your money there are cheaper and far better hotels in the west end which is where you want to be this hotel is too far away from it all the only way to where it's happening is a boat or bus ! Not cheap either !

This hotel was great for are group of friends . the rooms were large and were clean and towels and beds made every day even though we never got up that early . The maids always came back to clean them whatever the time was even late afternoon. There was two lovely pools and plenty of sunbeds which was kepy very clean. The food was very good always found something nice to eat . There were some families there but it was more for the young people although there was a mix of all ages. We never had any trouble sleeping although that could have been down to the drink which was very good along with the wind up toni that served the drinks he was a good laugh. The only thing was quening for drinks at night time two plastic cups per person . They could cut this down by serving pints and this would cut down on the work and the que. Overall had a wonderful time staying at this hotel and would reccomend it too anyone
