Just came home after a week at the fiesta tanit hotel. We had a great stay and didnt want to come home. It caters for all ages, we have an 18 month old son who loved the staff and entertainers at night. I am always a little wary of all inclusives as ive had bad experiences of the food in the past. I can honestly say that the food was one of the highlights and even catered for our toddler.
We arrvied at the hotel at 3.30am and was dissapointed by check in. There were quite a few families checking in at the same time and only one member of staff. As you can imagine we just wanted to get the baby to bed and had to wait quite a while. There was also no apology for the delay and I felt there was no customer service at all.
Apart from the check in everything eles was great. The pool is great for kids and there is always available sun loungers. Its very busy around the main pool, but its a lot quieter around the small pool. Short walk to the beach and its lovely, its shallow so great for kids. Its only small but its like a small private beach. You can rent sunloungers, umbrellas and pedalos.
The staff at the bar were always friendly and are really quick at serving. Dispite the hotel being really busy they always had plenty of staff working so the service was quick.
There is plently of food choice, they had some of the same things everyday like burgers, chips and pizza which is great for kids but they also had plenty of other choices like chicken curry, lamb, pork and chicken. The meats are cooked fresh in front of you. They have a wide choice of deserts and fresh fruit. There are snacks and ice cream at the bar so you can just help yourself.
The entertainment at night is great for children and adults. At 8.30 they have a disco with dancing routines which kept the children entertained for a while. Then later on into the night there would be a show. Most of the time it was the inhouse entertainers but they do a great job. They queen night (outside act) is definitely worth watching its really good and everyone got involved. There is plenty of seating outside and we found that a lot of people sat there at night. Its a shame that they dont play any background music though.
There is not much in cala garcio apart from a shop and a bar. It takes around 25 mins to walk into san antonio, taxi boat takes about 10 mins and 5 mins by bus.
The rooms are basic clean and spacious. They are cleaned everyday and clean towels were given.
Overall we would stay here again, this hotel gets great reviews and this is for a reason. They have so many staff that everything is quick and no waiting around for anything. The staff are really friendly especially the bar staff and the waitresses in the food area. Its just a shame that the reception staff are not like that.
