we stayed at the tanit from sept 25 until oct 9 2013 the hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly the food was alright but a bit boring after the first week, not to much to do in the resort had to go to san Antonio for some good entertainment .my biggest problem was the room we went with my partner and two children and are eldest daughter and her twin boys who are 2 years old we booked joining rooms which was alright for are daughter as she had plenty of room for her and the twins, but in are room you couldn't move in as they put two beds in it for me and my partner and a bed each for are 14 year daughter and 15 year old son needless to say there was no room to sit or have any privacy in the room, we normally stay at a first choice holiday village where if there are four of you you have two rooms .needless to say we wont be going back to the tanit.

Room Tip: if you go with older children 14 to16 book two rooms

Stayed at this hotel 19th- 26th October, and must say I cannot fault it in any way. The food was excellent with a fantastic choice, the hotel was spotless, hotel staff were very helpful cheerful and and smart.
The animation team worked hard and put on some great night time entertainment. Drinks although not branded were very good and very generous measures. The 3 pools were kept very clean with Plenty of sunbeds, children' s pool was great with two slides and a drenching bucket (very popular with the kids).
The hotel is in a very quiet area a good 20 min walk into San Antonio 6 euros in a taxi, only one bar and one supermarket close by. Would defiantly Return to this hotel

Room Tip: Pool Rooms get evening sun with great sunsets

Oct 2013. Weather. Excellent, 14 days of sun. Hotel. Clean, tidy, everything you need. Rooms. Family of three, so we had a large corner room. It was always clean, had great views and lots of storage. Unfortunately the Tanit is the noisiest hotel i have ever stayed in. Paper thin walls, floors and ceilings, combined with false fire alarms, extremely loud security guards and other holiday makers thinking because they want to stay up until 2, 3, 6am everybody else does. (Which is fine for them). After several long nights and the before mentioned paper wall syndrome i was longing for my own bed. Also being in a corner suite, many other rooms could look straight into our room, and into areas you would normally be in a state of undress, ie. wardrobe, beds, bathroom. Very strange. Food/Drink. Typical AI. We always found something nice to eat and drink but very predictable. Coffee undrinkable. Pool. We used the main pool but sat around the kid’s pool as it gets a lot more sun. Also it didn't have as many sun beds covered with towels, which a lot of sad donuts regularly did at stupid o’clock. Entertainment. Compared to what we have experienced from previous First Choice Holidays, very poor. Antiquated PA system. Nothing started until 8.30pm, finished by 10.30pm. Same 5 babyish party dances every night followed by, on occasion, near the knuckle audience participation or an average performance by the entertainment staff. Resort. Cala Graico, Quiet. One bar, one shop. Lovely little beach 5 mins walk away. San Antonio. 30 mins walk. I wouldn't say it was shut, but last orders had been called. Catch the bus to Santa Eularlia instead, (No. 19) 2.35 euros. Much nicer. Staff. Don't stop, mostly pleasent. Overall an enjoyable friends and family holiday in Ibiza. Although we expected a lot more from a Fiesta Hotel and won't be returning to the Tanit

We stayed for two weeks in October 2013. First impressions are that this hotel is something from the 70s, but the rooms are quite modern. The hotel is fairly noisy though, the walls ARE paper thin so be aware that your activities in the room are able to be heard by your neighbours! The balconies are not private at all, there are no dividers between so you can see across to all the other balconies. The all-inclusive food is plentiful and decent quality, but can get quite boring as there is a little bit of repetition. The all-inclusive drinks are OK, again nothing 'to tear up any trees'. Entertainment during the day was great, the team were always on the go organising football, water polo, darts, pool etc, but without being in your face about it. Entertainment in the evening was quite disappointing at times though, some nights it was adequate and other nights it was downright near the knuckle in general lewdness - which our friends we holidayed with found just too much for their 10 year old son and once actually complained to the First Choice reps about it. The maids were always cleaning so no complaints on that score. Bar staff could be a bit miserable but I suppose they have their work cut out with some rude customers. There's been previous reviews referring to lack of sunbeds, this isn't quite true, there's plenty of sunbeds but finding somewhere to put them is a different matter. We came out for the day straight after breakfast but EVERY sunbed around the pool was already "taken" with draped beach towels, but no sign of people on them. Also be aware that this hotel does have a large contingent of German customers which means that queuing customs are seldom kept! One person I did particularly want to mention though on the staff was Luca... keeping the kids entertained tirelessly day and evening, he did a smashing job and always with a smile on his face. San Antonio is about 20 minutes walk to the Egg Island, which is where everything seems to happen at that time of year - lots of places in the town were already closed or were closing the second week we were away. Easy to get the bus though from San Antonio bus station (no 19) to Santa Eularia, which seems busier and has a lovely beach. The beach near the hotel at Cala Gracio was lovely but the first cove had a bit of algae in the sea, far better to walk the extra 5 minutes around the next corner to the second cove. Overall it was a decent, cheap break and on the whole we enjoyed it, but I'm not sure we would come back here.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 714 which is one of the best rooms in the entire hotel! Do ask where possible for...

Fiesta hotels , superb , so we stayed here in October a first for my this time of year and first trip to the tanit , kids pool great in the morning as the sun hits it first then moves round by 12 to the main pool there's also an adult only pool which is nice to and just a short walk to the beach , food fantastic and staff in the dinner hall are great , bar inside or outside is nice and a fast service , rooms very clean the maids do a fantastic job , reception staff will do whatever it takes to please and are very friendly ( just ask ) location is good for beaches and great walks there's a river taxi just 3mins walk away that takes you to the heart of st Antonio , entertainment is good in the evenings and by the pool , your kiddies will want for nothing I promise you , you must opt for the limited view , watching the sun come down over the sea is spot on .... Superb value for money , see you all in May :-) thanks fiesta / palladium

We stayed at fiesta tanit for 2 weeks september 2013. The weather was beautiful.
The hotel is an average 3 star.
The hotel is not in san antonio, around a 30 minute walk away. It is is cala gracia which only has this hotel a spa shop, beach and 1 tavern. Ideal if you dont want to do anything or leave the hotel
The rooms are basic and not overly spacious but clean. The maids visit daily and do an excellent job
The food was nice with a good variety daily, but after 2 weeks was a little repetitive.
The kiddies spalsh pool is ideally located next to the playground and away from the bar and loud main pool....but freezing.
If u want entertainment through the day there is lots going on around the main pool....but very very loud. The adults only pool is a nice escape from it all.
There is private access to the public beach, which although is not very big is clean with lovely sand. There was a lot of seaweed and jelly fish....the next cove up behind the bar is much nicer.
The kiddies disco is a little painful every day as they play the same 5 songs. The evening entertainment is a little hit and miss. The shows like the lion king and moulin rouge are worth staying for.....but b warned some nights are not appropriate for young eyes!

Room Tip: Anywhere away from the pool bar as it is very loud until midnight every night Hire of pool towels i...
