“As good as it gets on the coast”
Reviewed August 13, 2012

You will struggle to find better food anywhere on the coast. It beats the vast majority of over rated restaurants in the Puerto Banus and Marbella area by quite some distance. The lobster salad was as good as I've tasted and the steak tartare was perfect.

A great dining experience and a real find.

These guys have got a great restaurant and will do well with those who appreciate great food. Leave the over hyped mediocrity of Puerto Banus and treat yourself to a superb night out at L'Impronta.

“Simply the best”
Reviewed August 10, 2012

The best restaurant in the areo run by Paolo, creator of La Meridiana, landmark restaurant in the past. Nothing beats it.

“At last a fabulous restaurant in San Pedro”
Reviewed August 7, 2012

San Pedro is a few kilometres but another world away from Marbella. It still retains its Spanish "pueblo" personality and its weekly market and Feria reminds one that as late as the 60's the town had only a handful of motor cars that drove down compacted earth roads.

With the new tunnel taking the bulk of the traffic away from the town and hopefully new gardens being planted up in the vicinity, San Pedro will flourish and with it this really super restaurant.

The design is very modern yet it has a sophisticated homely touch in this medium sized restaurant with outside seating. The decor is ultra smart and one is greeted at the entrance with either a bowl of fresh lemons, green apples or vases of gorgeous flowers, preparing you for the delights to follow.

The staff are charming, friendly and welcoming while service is efficient, nothing but nothing is too much to ask and every effort is made to satisfy the customer. Attempting a low fat diet I asked for a plain tomato and avocado salad, which was not on the menu. Well it should be, it was simply delicious. It came with cherry tomatoes, Heirloom tomatoes and summer Spanish tomatoes and was mixed with a superb dressing and avocado at its peak and presented as a Still Life.

Whether your main is a Pasta or Fish or Meat it exits the kitchen leaving the embrace of the Chef who has lovingly and artfully prepared the dish just for you, as you would prefer it best. We have been on many occasions to this restaurant and never yet been disappointed. With the pedigree they have, owned by the ex proprietor of La Meridiana, one expects and gets excellent service and excellent food.

A great pleasure and privilege to be able to eat here.

“Excellent”
Reviewed August 1, 2012

A restaurant for foodies. The food is as good as you would get in any off the best restaurants, in any city around the world. Great care is taken by the staff to make you at home, and while every detail is covered, they are not in your face. The chefs use the best ingredients avaiable, to serve absolutely the best food around. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough, and on every visit that we make, the whole experience is the best we have in Marbella, by a clear mile.
