Description: Irishman Malcolm Spendlove has created Passion Cafe, a great new restaurant open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner. For breakfast you can feast on a large variety of dishes including American style pancakes, full Irish breakfast, smoked salmon bagel, home baked brown bread and much more. The lunch and dinner menu cover a wide selection from steaks, pizzas, quesadillas, pastas or even some tasty fish & chips or burgers using creative ingredients and freshly made fillings. The decor and lighting is modern with interesting photos, worth a look also the up/down seating areas create privacy in every corner of the restaurant. It's a wonderful place to meet for a glass of wine or beer after work, take the family for dinner, fill up before and after a round of golf or just simply chill out and watch the world and Ferraris go by.

My good lady and my daughter love it here, the menu is good my girls loved the Passion cafes unique sandwiches.
Lovely homemade bread and classic fillings - top draw sandwiches.
The sarnies are sometimes too big but there is no problem getting a doggie bag .
Passion also makes it own cakes and deserts and their "carrot cake " and cheese cakes are taste sensation.
We live in riviera so to drive to San pedro just for a meal is a little bit "hardcore" but when our daughter visits us from the UK we make a day of it.
There are lots of mediocre - poor reviews for the Passion Cafè some of the points should be addressed by the management and posted on Trip advisor .
If the customers can have their say - the management should have theirs.

Went there for the first time for a brunch that truly was good. The pancakes were delicious and the best way to start the day. However, we went back for a coffee a few times in the afternoon, and every time we had something to say. The service was not always good and our last time was honestly disappointing. We ordered two pieces of cake and my cheesecake was at least 2 or 3 days old, completely dry and supposed to be a snickers flavor (which I couldn't even taste) that I paid 6,50 euros!!!!!!! And didn't eat half...
For this reason I will probably not come back to passion cafe.

If there is one comment that infuriates me, it is to be told 'nobody else complained' It was my misfortune to be told so in this establishment. I went there on Sunday last to try out their well promoted Sunday lunch. A disaster. It had all the signs of having been cooked the day before. I chose the beef and was asked how I would like it. A pointless question as it only came one way.
While I like my vegetables al dente they came virtually raw. Chopped chives in the horseradish, a new twist. The one redeeming feature was the very helpful and sympathetic waitress, a little star. My message concerning the poor quality of the food was passed to the chef who made the stupid comment in my opening line.
This restaurant has a small bakery at the entrance and has undoubtedly the best homemade brown bread on the Costa, their lemon meringue pie top class. I have enjoyed many a good breakfast and lunch here. I will return but will revert to 'The Hogan Stand' or 'The Playright' for their excellent traditional Sunday lunch.

We've been here a few times now and have not been disappointed yet.

I like the feel of this place, lots of character with glass-topped tables revealing trinkets underneath, plus motor racing memorabilia and it's decorated really well.

The burgers are really juicy and very tasty indeed, similar to their sister restaurant down the road "Mr. Gourmet Burger". The breakfasts are also tasty, and generous.

The coffee is also good and the service very efficient.

The real triumph is the cakes. The baker came from Avoca Handweavers and my Irish wife tells me that the soda bread, Mars bar cakes and rocky road are exactly like they are at Avoca, so if you're looking for a taste of Ireland I would recommend trying the bakery section. We often call in for a cake and a loaf.

Will go again and again. Reasonably priced too.
