a perfect place to have a nice wine with one of the fabulous homemade tapas that are also being served here, and everything for a more than reasonable price. Tourist as well as the locals are often mixed in this charming little wine bar and the presence of the friendly dutch host Arnout or the Spanish Leo makes this by far the best place in Conil.

“Not really a restaurant, but....”
Reviewed October 12, 2012

This is neither a bar or a restaurant or a shop, but a little bit of everything. It is a cozy little place in an old Andalusian house, decorated in Morrocan style, usually playing soft Spanish music. The wine list is amazing - a bit more expensive than elsewhere, but then the wines ARE better than elsewhere. And the best is, you can try them by the glass before you decide to buy bottles for home, or as a present. To go along with the wine, a range of nice tapas is available - and again, much of the gourmet-ingrediences you can also buy to take home. There are also some other Morrocan-inspired souvenirs, though the very best pieces are for decoration only.... The owner speaks English, Dutch and German, so you can easily ask for advice on what to try and/or buy. I wouldn't go there for a full meal, as it's mainly snacks being served, but it also stays open to late, so it's an ideal place to chill out after a full day of activities. In summer, there is also limited outdoor seating.
