We loved it - no table service so you have to go to the bar to order your food (in Spainnish) and then the order is called out when the food is ready. Menu varies each day and is written on white boards and the food is local tapas traditional dishes (meat and fish).

This restaurant is called Los Hermanos (not Dos) and when we went in June (2012) it was open daily each evening (except Sundays) from 8.30pm.

Well used by locals which is always a good sign!

I love Tapas bars but sadly in the UK I've yet to find a decent one, or more to the point one that actually serves tapas instead of just starter sized plates which cost too much apart from La Rueda in London which I went to a lot many years ago. If I could snap my fingers and be eating anywhere in the world I think i might go here though, it's fantastic. Love the way they keep a note of what you've had by writing it on the counter where you're sitting, love the atmosphere, the food is fabulous, love the Tinto de verano on tap, undoutedly the best tapas bar I've ever been to!

As regular visitors to the area we always visit Dos Hermanos even though we've never worked out when it's open or closed! The atmosphere depends on how many people are in. If it's crowded the "craic" is great even if you have to struggle to get served. One tip is to use Spanish to order in preference to English. Have a dictionary with you to work out the menu which is quite long with tapas at 1.5 to 2 euros and raciones at 5-8 euros. Last trip we tried chocos( a bit like squid) in a much-reduced tomato sauce and boquerones(whitebait) served on their own. Both excellent and washed down with manzanilla. The youngest waiter speaks better English than he is prepared to let on , so be warned!

Had several visits at this place during my stay in Conil De La Frontera.Fantastic atmosphere with a controlled bar personell though lunch time is extremely hectic for kitchen and the bar.Families, solo men and women are among the guests.Cold and fresh beer served in small glasses and a good variety of different tapas.
