This is a charming medieval building which hosts the Folk Museum. They have a film about the old tradition of baking the bread in a specific way,using an oven called "tsest" which used to be made of clay by the village women in a certain day after Easter,following an old ritual. There is a room of traditional pottery and the guide explains how the pottery is made and painted.He also explains the painting on the pottery from different parts of Oltenia region. The room of traditional clothes displays the old village wedding costumes all of them hand made. The last room is that of the puppets which is a delight for the children. It is really worthy to visit this wonderful museum.
