We spent a week here at the beginning of July, the hotel itself was outside the main town but you could get a taxi for under 5 euros,
we went for a b& b option, the food did get a bit repetitive after a while but you could have as much as you wanted.
Our apartment was so much bigger than we expected, with 2 teenage girls it was perfect having 2 bathrooms.
the staff were lovely and helpful, the little coffee shop was great we got take out rolls several times and took them down to the beach for lunch. Their pizza was also popular,
it was a nice stroll down to the beach but a bit of a climb back up, this was then followed by numerous steps to the apartment as we were on the 3rd floor, so it was tiring in the heat but overall great value for money

We had a lovely time if it was just me and my partner we would return but our 2 teenagers did get a bit bored in the evenings as it was to far for them to go to town by themselves

Just back from the holiday. The place was exactly was were expecting it to be. Decent cheap accommodation in a secluded but not remote location. Two swimming pools both cleaned up daily and topped up with fresh water during the night. Pool bar where the pint was 2.40 euro, the cheapest ice cream 90 cents and the slush puppy 2 euros. The food offered consisted of burgers, ham and cheese toasty 2.80 euro, served with crisps aside and fries. The beach is around 6-7 min walk and the steps are manageable even by toddlers. There is a road access too for people with cars or wheelchairs. The view is just breath taking and I did a lot of snorkeling near the rocks there and saw plenty of fish. There is a nice restaurant on the beach serving beer 3.30 euro/pint and fish dishes the most expensive of which was the sword fish at 13.80 euro/portion that comes with chips and side salad. They also offer fresh fish but make sure that you ask for the price before order. The fish soup was very tasty and inexpensive at 3.40 euro and can't recommend it enough. The closest hypermarket is InterMarche where a bottle of Ballantines is 9.98 euro and the cheapest beer is 2.58 euro for ten 250 mls bottles. The food is more or less on pair with the prices in Ireland but a lot of the local product are significantly cheaper like ice tea 2 liter bottle for 69 cents and a whole chicken for 1.99 euro.

Room Tip: C31 and C34 had a common balcony and a good partial view to the ocean just as requested.

Without a doubt the worst a.i. we have ever stayed in, basically its a self catering complex playing at a.i. and sadly not competing on any level. From the food to the lack of space in the dining rooms not good enough, how they will cope in the summer months i do not know .We stayed in Feb so the hotel was quiet even then we felt cramped in the dining area, there is no lounge bar to relax in for example, not good enough sorry. The rooms are big but they were'nt cleaned we had to ask for it to be cleaned and our sheets to be changed once again not good enough.
On the plus side the coastline is fantastic.

Me and my boyfriend stayed at the terrace club for 10 nights, we arrived late at around half 1 in the morning which nobody was there as reception was closed, we got left a letter with a map and the room key. The rooms were big and clean. The cleaners came in every other day and towels only got changed once a week. Staff at reception was very helpful, phoned taxi's for us when we wanted to go into the town. The only downside is that there is nothing really around the hotel, the super market is a good 20 - 25 minute walk away which is hard carrying bags in the heat. There is a passage which saves you walking all the way around to the super market, however there is sometimes a dog out which barks a lot and seems quite aggressive. The cocktails at the pool bar at night are really nice €5 each. The terrace club cafe is really nice, they do nice burgers and a variety of cakes/pastries. The rooms have a fan but it doesn't really make a difference when it is roasting at night. Could do with some air conditioning, however the hotel is lovely over all.

Just got back from a weeks stay here for my 50th with my partner and her two kids.
I will start with the negatives to get them out of the way as there's not too many of them,
1st complaint, the room (b32) had no ceiling fans in the bedroom or the living area, although I did e-mail the hotel and got an electric fan left in our room for our arrival,it was still far too hot and meant that on a night only 1 room would benefit.needless to say the kids won.
2nd complaint, cleaners didn't clean room for 4days when we first got there but were spot on after that.
3rd and final complaint, had a steak one night in the terrace club restaurant and it was very poor to say the least.our fault though as we had already heard it was not very nice but thought we would give it a go.
Positives
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very spacious and although some people said the beds were hard, I think they sleep on cotton wool at home because there was nothing wrong with them. We got the room we asked for (B32), with a pool view and a fantastic sea view. Some people complained about the noise around the pool on a night but we found this no problem at all. The pool was great, we read some reviews saying that it was ice cold but we found it to be rather warm. The beaches were beautiful and even the temperature of the sea was ideal. Snacks at the pool bar and cafe were very nice, especially the cheese and ham toasties and the cheese burgers. All in all we'd definitely return as we had a fantastic time and everyone was so friendly.
