We stayed here during our vacation from vacation in The Algarve, and it was perfect in every way. The resort grounds are beautiful, with numerous pools, and a private beach. The setting could not be more picturesque!

Our room was well-appointed and spacious, and the bathroom was luxurious. While we stayed in many nice hotels on our vacation, the breakfast here was by far the best (it has an omelette bar), and it was included with the stay!

The wine selection is very nice, and we had both lunch and dinner at the grill restaurant by the pool. This place is a gem, and a very good value for a resort of this quality! We will come back!

We found this hidden gem by surprise when visiting the Algarve. From start to finish we felt at home. All the staff is very friendly and strongly customer oriented. The resort is hidden in a valley, on a dead-end road, facing the beautiful Algarve coastline. You become and feel Zen quickly as it is extremely calm and the garden is very nice and well kept. All food services are excellent and this with a spectacular sea view. We loved the seafood cataplana and the beef/tuna hamburgers. One of the best resorts we ever stayed in, we are already thinking on going back... . We would like to keep this secret

This hotel is situated on a sandy beach with dramatic and imposing cliffs. The hotel built on the cliff has spectacular views out to sea especially from the pool and dining rooms. The low key atmosphere is in contrast to the very high end Villa Vita Park directly next door. One can easily walk there for dinner and a change of scene.
This hotel has a more low key vibe and the staff are simply wonderful. So courteous and nothing is too much trouble.

The spa is huge and has a very big offering so I advise checking out its menu before hand and booking treatments in advance of your stay.

The beautiful gardens are so pretty and well maintained with many different plant varieties.

My room was very comfortable and clean. I had a sea view room.

If you are looking for a quick relaxing break and then this would be a very good option.

Everything about the resort was fabulous - the rooms, gardens, food, location and spa but most of all the staff - everyone was so welcoming and friendly it made a special break even more special and exceeded my expectations.

Room tip: We had a junior garden suite which was quiet and had a view of the ocean

We stayed last summer for a week with our little boy.
Staff is all very polite and attencious. Started in the reception with private check in and a welcome drink, no queues... and a toy for our child, that was a nice touch.
After checking in they took us to a buggy ride across the resort to know all the places.
The pool view suite was very large and super clean. I must highlight the cleaning of all the resort areas.
You get 2 nespresso free each day in your room.
There is no problem with reserved sunbeds in the pool but the same doesn’t happen in the beach. Vilalara provides free sunbeds in the beach, but is every morning they were reserved while guests were taking breakfast for hours... although this is not allowed.
Beautiful gardens and surounding areas.
We ate a couple of times in the pool restaurant at night. It’s not cheap but I think price is fair for the level of service and quality of the food.
Kids club was just ok, I didn’t find the staff very friendly there, they seemed without passion and enthusiasm.
The overall experience is super positive.
You can expect a resort with a calm athmosphere, professional staff, extremely clean and very well maintained.
