“Excellant service great hosts”
Reviewed April 23, 2012

We visited this restaurant as a family for a celebration of my sister in laws 40th birthday. We had booked the restaurant and found that we were the only diners which was nice for the children to play in the park outside the restaurant. The Owners, sorry cant remember their names were fantastic and extremely friendly and helpful and nothing was too much for them. The food was fantastic offering a great selection of meats and fish dishes and everyone of us 18 people enjoyed every mouthful.

The setting is fantastic and you have a superb view from the restaurant overlooking the bay of vilamoura. This is a lovely setting for either couples or families. I will definatly visit again the next time I visit vilamoura.

“Quick service, good food, great view.”
Reviewed August 13, 2011

We visited this restaurant last Monday night without booking a table. You have the choice of sitting inside or outside. The inside has large open windows which provide a great view of Vilamoura as the restaurant is set on a hill. There were plenty of free tables, service
was very quick (despite being told that it can be slow). We ordered two adult and two children's mains. They arrived 5 mins later, my husband had the steak and I had tagliatelli with prawns both were lovely. The staff were friendly and the price was reasonable, no
complaints at all. Would def go back.

“Great views, reasonable food, great staff - worth a visit”
Reviewed July 12, 2011

We visited as a family (children aged 4 and 2). The building is a little quirky but with great views over the sea in the distance through ceiling to floor open windows with a welcome evening breeze! The food options are varied and have some Portuguese dishes (lots of sea food) alongside generic dishes such as ribs / steak. Childrens menu is good but they will also serve the main menu dishes in smaller servings. The staff were great and really good with the children. They were playing games with them and gave them caps with Van Gogh on. With good parking and a small play groung outside, and the fact that it is also kiddy safe (they cant escape) it is a great place for an early meal with the family. Well worth a visit!

“Lovely out of the way with Fabulous views”
Reviewed September 5, 2010

Short drive (10-15 mins) from Vilamoura, wouldn't cost much in a taxi if you are without a car and worth it when you get there.

Doesn't look much on initial approach, but has two eating areas, one outside which you can't see from the car park and one inside with very large fold away wall windows for the summer which would also be huge windows to show off the view in the winter.

Staff were extremely attentive and helpful. We both had Lamb which was delicious, the childrens menu was as you'd expect for around six euros but there was pizza too for 10 euros, they wanted pizza and the waitress suggested they share it as it was a large one - we liked this as it turned a potential 20 euro bill into 10 and no waste - the pizza was large enough, especially with the usual bread, olives etc to start so the girls were thrilled. Wine choice was good too.

There is a very good childrens play area which was clean and varied for primary age children and pre-schoolers.

The decor and artwork inside is worth wandering around to look at, the bar looks a nice place to have a pre-dinner drink.

We were very pleased to find this restaurant away from the bustle of the coastal ones. It was a very pleasant change and wish we'd found it earlier in the holiday so we couldn't have returned as it was we only went to it 3 nights before we came home.
