Giovanna greeted us warmly felt like we were family members staying in our villa with views of vineyards and area. Brought us welcoming cappachino while we unpacked. We had a clean room with balcony view of area. My wife was feeling bad one day, Giovanna made special soup to help her. We ate in the restaurant twice was great with pleasant, relaxing service. We loved the quietness of the area and the peaceful surroundings in Fumane. Went to Verona for the day only 30 minutes drive. Another day Lake Garda. Next time we go to Italy we will look for a place like this to unwind and recover after the over night flight from Texas to Italy. We went to Venice area first which was beautiful yet not relaxing, next time quiet place like this first. Need a rental car.

We have stayed in this hotel while we were doing Vespa tours in the Garda lake and Valpolicella area .
The breakfast is very good . The rooms are not very luxuous but quite OK. They have a nice swimming pool. The hotel is in a quiet area in the hills and has a beautiful view from the terrace. And above all the kitchen is very good and has an excellent quality / price ratio.
The hotel is family run and that gives a special feeling - you are a bit at home.
Many guests are coming back , which is a good sign. The hotel is mainly used as a stop-over from the north of Europe (NL , GE , BE , ) to Venice or to Tuscany or any other region in Italy.

A bit late with the review but since we're looking for places to visit for this summer I remembered our visit from last year and was/are tempted to go back right now.

Giovanna and the rest of the staff really knows how to make you feel at home. Excellent rooms and nice breakfast. The restaurant serves one of the best italian meals I've ever eaten. We'll be back for sure.

This was a hotel we pre-booked on a week's tour of Northern Italy. We only stayed 2 nights but wanted to stay longer. It was in the most tranquil and beautiful area and had a perfect view of vine-yards and mountains from our room window. It had a lovely clean pool which not many people used but which we made very good use of as the weather was so hot. The lady that owns this place is called Giavanna and she is the most lovely hostess with a good sense of humour and good command of english. There is a great restaurant in the hotel which serves nice italian food and the house wine is very nice too made from their own grape vines. The price was very good for b&b and evening meal compared to some places we had been to in Venice and Lake Garda. The breakfast was plentiful and was the only place where we were offered a freshly made omelette.
We will definitely recommend this place 100% and look forward to staying there again in the future. Many thanks again to Giavanna. You are a credit to the place!

...Albergo that we ever stayed at!! The owner of Ca´Dei Maghi is a nice lady, Giovanna, who wants everybody to enjoy themselves at Ca´Dei Maghi. We had a familyroom with a splendid view to the mountains and the small cities awards the Garda Lake. The albergo has a small, but beatiful, swimmingpool, where we spend a lot of time after doing the "wine-rute" during the day. Together with her sister, the chef in the kitchen, the restaurant has a great local cuisine, where you can try everything from horse to duck, the food is great - just try it! In the evening a lot of locals came to have their dinner, which is the best recommendation you can get!! By the way, the sister and her husband has the family Amarone wineyard just beside the albergo - and the wine is perfect with the cuisine.

First we had some trouble getting in, but after that everything was lovely. Room was as expected, and the shower was a decent one (first time during our trip to Italy). The view over Fumane and Verona was breathtaking especially after sunset. The restaurant in the hotel was what we consider gourmet, and special note goes to the Amarone wine of the house. The owner family were very friendly and generous. The shooting star in the middle of our dinner on the balkony made the atmosphere perfect!

This is a wonderful family run hotel. Our quad room was clean and attractive with a balcony overlooking beautiful countryside. It is just outside of Verona, near Lake Garda. It was easy to find and out in peaceful countryside. They have a restaurant and we ate on the terrace. As we were thumbing thru our phrasebooks trying to order, Giovanna came to our rescue and ordered us a wonderful dinner of the best pasta we had on our trip. She was very gracious and made a memorable dinner for us in a beautiful, relaxed setting. In the morning we had breakfast in a wine cellar with lots of charm. This hotel was definitely a find.
