Went to dinner here with my husband and eight and ten year old boys. We all had pasta. Our boys cleaned their plates both saying it was there favorite pasta of our trip so far. My truffle pasta was fabulous and my husband loved his ravioli. We walked to restaurant and back to our bed and breakfast among grapevines and fireflies. Kids were enchanted and very full with excellent dinner and so were we.

We stayed at Villa Mangiacane and walked through the vineyard for lunch. The food was excellent and our waitress was funny & helpful. From our antipasti to our espresso, I would highly recommend this quite little spot.

My wife Ann is vegan. We arrived at the resturant and our guide Guido had a few words with friendly young woman in charge of front of house and the cook. The old adage of " never trust a skinny chef" is true here he is not fat but a good healthy size, no beanpole. We sat down and Guido ordered a bottle of wine and the young woman pulled a face but the wine was great. I and guido had pecorino and prosciutto Ann had bruschetta and there was real tasty fried bread. I can not remember exactly what Guido had next but think it might have been pork spare ribs which I had with grilled chicken breast Ann's next dish was a mixed vegetable grill which I tried and it was very nice. Didn't have room for the delicious looking cakes. Over all a very enjoyable experience. People who posted negative comments about this resturant must have the wrong place or not liked Italy in general. We spent three weeks in Italy and I found that in general Italians like there steak cooked a lot less than people from USA, AUS.NZ.etc. Reccomend this establishment for quality eating experience.

We stayed at Villa Mangiacane and walked here for dinner. The food was very good and the staff was very friendly. They recomended an excellent bottle of wine. The following day, we had lunch to go and the panni's were excellent.

We were very dissapointed by this "restaurant"!
The Service is horrible, you can tell immediately that the waitress does not like her job at all! Food in general way to salty and the Steak was just raw in the middle. The comment of the waitress: "That is the way Italiens eat meat in general". Just for the sake of clarification, the steak was not rare, it was just uncooked. Furthermore the wine recommendation did not meet at all what we asked for. We asked for a particular fruity wine, however, we got the opposite. Finally when we received the bill the steak was charged Eur 5 more than expected. After I asked if that might be a mistake, the waitress said that she is the opinion that that is the price of the stake. After she double checked we just got the new bill back without no comment!

Just choose a different place if you want to enjoy your evening with good food and if you want to feel welcome!
