Albergo Minisoggiorno

We arrived late, but got a very friendly reception. Nice room, and excellent breakfast. The couple who ran it spoke perfect English, and were very helpful with respect to our further plans in Tuscany.

It's been a pleasure for us to meet you, too. We still remember the lovely talk we had in the morning, during breakfast. Greetings from San Casciano! Sofia

The hotel is really nice, perfect if you want to explore the countryside of Florence. San Casciano is only half an hour of bus from the center of Florence, and one hour of bus from the city of Siena. This hotel was the right choice, for it allowed us to easily visit both the city and the Chiantishire. The bedroom was warm and clean, with a nice view of the Chianti hills. Sofia, the owner, is really friendly and her homemade breakfast was simply amazing.

This is an excellent place for those who wish to avoid the hustle and bustle of Florence (and its overpriced hotels). Also a perfect starting point for one day trips to the Chianti, Siena, San Gimignano, etc. In a quiet spot, yet near the motorway and close to Florence. Rooms are spacious, with balconies with a view, very clean and decent bathrooms. The owner Sofia prepares lovely breakfasts, and is helpful and attentive to the max. Very reasonably priced, unpretentious, own parking space. We liked it a lot and will come back.

My favourite accomodation when I go to Tuscany. Both Florence and Siena are near and reachable with public transportation and our car can stay parked in the closed garden of the B&B.

Stayed in this B&B a couple of times. The staff are extremely helpfull and friendly, the rooms are clean and beautifully decorated with classic Italian furniture. Just outside the B&B you can walk into the tuscan hills full of olive trees and vineyards, sights I won't easily forget...
There is a bus going from San Casciano town to Florence every hour- this was a great way to visit the beautiful but chaotic city during the day, and returning to a quieter place for the night.
