One of the best places we have ever dined in Italy! Very close (3km) to Borgo San Felice. Do not miss this place if you are anywhere in the area! One star Michelin since 1997 in this tiny village. Small and cozy. Bottega since Helene, the chef-owner goes to market every morning to come up with the menu. Delectable! We stumbled on it after being recommended by our concierge to go to another place in the tiny town of Sesta since San Felice was closed for a private dining event. (Hmmm, wonder why he didn't recommend this place.....). We dined at San Felice the first night. We dined at Bottega 30 the next TWO nights. (Maybe that's why?). It was that good! Great handmade pastas: large uovo ravioli with white truffles was divine, second night homemade spaghetti with beautifully cured/smoked thin slices of goose breast and white truffles as starters. Also, an excellent artichoke heart starter my wife had both nights. Incredible roast saddle of pork one night, and perfectly cooked tagliata the second night. Great house made desserts. Excellent reasonable wine list with good local suggestions from Helene. Small staff of four, but super efficient amicable service. Cozy as they come in the two small rooms, one with winter wood burning stove. Old memorabilia dotting the walls. Everything a cozy, romantic wine country great little restaurant can ever aspire to be! We LOVED this place and its chef-owner! As good as it gets! We shall return! Splendido! Do not miss it!
