We were really looking forward to eating here as it had been recommended to us and was in a lovely location. The location was indeed fabulous and it was fairly busy with Italian customers. It all looked great. However we couldn't see anywhere obvious to make ourselves known, and no one approached us. So we went inside and a woman went past us, completely ignored us, and then continued to ignore us when I said scusi . On a 2nd attempt, I asked if we could eat there, and she half hearted ly led us to a table. Never mod, I thought this restaurant is supposed to be great I'm sure the food will be good. The level of service continued to be comatose, but we did manage to order. We did have a lovely bruschetta and my daughter's sausages were nice, but her awful chips had a long hair firmly attached, which we were told could not have come from the kitchen as the chef is bald. It was not taken off the bill ( which took ages to arrive ) and we left feeling as if we had been treated as second class guests as we were not Italian and did not speak Italian well. Perhaps our experience would have been better otherwise, but we have discovered much better places nearby and wouldn't dream of coming back to this place , regardless of the setting . And a little bit of green lettuce cost 4euros which was really taking the mickey.
