After a recent visit to Castello di Brolio we got on the road and stopped by chance at Villa a Sesta. In the beautiful outdoor garden we were served a very tasty and wonderful lunch. After a variety of homemade breads and locally brewed beer ( a nice winelist is available as well), we opted for a platter of Tuscan salami, mortadella, soppressata and parma ham. A great selection of Tuscan treats followed by excellent primo piattis of homemade pasta. Our friendly hostess treated us to a selection of complimentary sweets with our coffee.
I would highly recommend a visit to L'Asinello and I hope to return soon for dinner in the romantic indoor dining room.
