A beautiful Baroque cathedral dedicated to St Nicholas, designed by Rosario Gagliardi, it was completed in 1776. It had its cupola collapsed in 1996, as a consequence of some inadequacy in repairs that took place after the cathedral having been damaged by earthquakes. Fortunately, it's been already restored. By the time of my visit, there was still some restoration work in process in its interior, which I found elegant and sober in its decoration. An aspect that attracted me in its interior was it is painted white and that, together with the entrance of natural light, increased the beauty of it.
