This was a great lunch stop on a recent VBT Sicily bike trip. We were overwhelmed with the dishes: great antipasti and pasta dishes, just the thing after a morning of cycling the beautiful hills of southern Sicily. And the animals made for a true farm experience, including a newborn burro.

Three brothers run this fantastic agriturismo. Why eat in a city restaurant when you can come out to this wonderful farm and have the most authentic Italian eating experience of your entire trip? We made reservations. After arriving, we received a personal tour of the farm. We had no idea what we were going to be eating, but the food just kept on coming all night. Our nine-course meal included antipasti (3 salamis, 2 cheeses, fennel cake, buffalo mozzarella wrapped in bacon, olives, grilled eggplant & zucchini, egg torta, cauliflower), fresh homemade ricotta, snails with tomato sauce, half a pizza, half a focaccia, 3 different pastas, orange chicken, fennel salad, fresh oranges and homemade tarts. Local Nero D'Avola wine was also included. All this for 25 Euros each. What a amazing experience. At the end of the meal, my husband said "I think this was the best meal of my entire life...questo e il migliore pasto che ho avuto nella mia vita, 50 anni!"

We had sunday lunch at this beautifully located agriturismo. The staff spoke only a few words english but was very friendly and helpful. The menu is fixed with a different menu for children. First loads of antipasti (including snails), then a plate with different pasta dishes, after that meat and sausages followed by fruit (in our case the best oranges ever) and dessert. After the meal all the guests join in the bar for coffee. The prices for this feast is only 25 euros for adults (including wine and water) and 12 euros for children.
The farms has lots of animals (donkeys, an ostrich, goats, horses, rabbits, geese) that are fun to see for both children and adults.
Highly recommended both for the great food and the genuine experience.
