“Fabulous and relaxing place to stay”

We stayed for two weeks at Kallikoros, which is nestled in sun-baked olive and lemon groves. Kallikoros resort is a beautiful place which has been finished to a high standard. The room was excellent and had the added advantage of a kitchen we weren't expecting. The views from the restaurant terrace and swimming pool are stunning. The staff work very hard to ensure everyone is looked after and the resort is well maintained. This is a good place to stay if you want to explore Modica, Ragusa and Syracuse (we even went as far as Taormina) also there are three adorable ginger kittens at Kallikoros!

We spent 2 nights. The place is in the middle of nowhere with nice landscape. Quite and relax! Swimming pool, nice meal, clean room, all is perfect. Only issue, you need to have a car to go there, and not easy to find when GPS cannot find the place. I recommend strongly. Hopeful we'll return someways.

First let me say, overall this is a lovely place to stay..Very Romantic, Peaceful..Beautiful..
On the second note..we had one of the worst meals, the evening, we had dinner there, that not just me,but all of our party, had ever been served..We could not believe that at such a nice ,resort setting..that this could happen..It was not just one individual thing, but the entire meal was dreadful....Would I go there again, Yes, but go into Siracusa or better yet there is a wonderful Restaurant at the train station in Rosolini....You will need a car...Perhaps this was an off night for the restaurant..but it is very hard to understand That all the meals, every serving , was awful>>

My husband and I saw this on tripadvisor and almost couldn't believe the deal... We honestly thought this had to be too good to be true. However we decided to go ( at this price figured we couldn't go wrong), arrived to a Kallikoros, very friendly staff, clean couples room for our massages, and THE BEST massages WE HAVE Ever had!!!!! WOW. This is a must go to place, the price is awesome and the staff couldn't have been more professional, pleasant and the massage-- fabulous.!! Therapist Gabriel was fantastic Good Good Good!
30-minute massage for some neck and shoulder pain. Gabriel found all the right places in my shoulder blades and concluded by rolling my head back and forth with a towel, which really loosened and relieved several kinks in my neck.
Would do it again in a heartbeat.

We stayed for 4 nights at the Kallikoros and enjoyed every minute especially the time spent by the pool. Built on the hill side the resort enjoys fantastic views especially from the pool deck. The rooms are very comfortable and the shower/toilet spacious.

All the staff were very welcoming and friendly and have catered for all of our requests :)

The breakfast was reasonable and dinner at the restaurant very good.

Room Tip: Try to get a room close to the main building (reception and restaurant) if you are not prepared to w...

Kallikoros is not an easy place to find, but thanks to the directions and photos provided, it is worth the drive. A very friendly welcome greeted us and we were shown round the resort and had our bags taken to the room by the manager. The room was really nice with a double bed, fantastic shower, separate lounge kitchen and dinning table. We had booked for 2 weeks though it seemed the average stay was 3 to 4 days. Lots of bicycle tours(VBT) but being the near the start of the season it was very quiet.
We had also decided to go half board, very unusual for us, but worth it as the hotel is quite remote, but that is one of it's charms.
The restaurant was lovely and the team very charming, friendly and helpful especially Santi the head waiter who was a real star, the hotel are very lucky to have this guy and the team working for them.
The views were wonderful from the room, would just sit and look for ages it was so relaxing especially with a G and T ice and lemon in hand, with lemons picked from the numerous lemon trees on the estate.
The hotel was a good base for our daily travels round Syracuse and we saw some beautiful sites, from towns and especially the historical sights and Etna which was amazing. The 2 weeks flew by and before we knew it were were on the plane back home. It was our first time in Sicily, so we have now done the big 3 med islands. It was a great place to relax and unwind and would recommend to people like us.
Thanks Kallikoros.

We stayed two nights at Kallikoros as part of a VBT (Vt Bicycle Tours) trip through Ragusa, Noto and Syracuse. Kallikoros was the most interesting of the hotels we stayed in as it is nestled into a hillside with rugged farming for miles around. An enormous radio telescope a mile down the road , combined with mountains and lemon groves, gives the area an extraterrestrial feeling. The accommodations and the staff made the resort feel warm and welcoming. The pool soaks up enough sun to be a comfortable temperature. The rooms have a minimalist décor that takes a bit of getting used to but were attractive and luxurious. The food and house wine (made there) were great. Overall, we had a great experience at this hotel.
