Clean, pretty and better than the pictures made us expect. Nice and helpfull staff, and a very good restaurant. They server the best breakfast, fresh orangejuice, fresh fuit, fresh bread, a lot of healthy choices and some not as healthy.

The train and the road lie on both sides of the hotel, but didn`t dispurb us at all.

The hotel was a good place to see the sunrise lying in bed, very nice and romantic. A short walk from Acireale, and a good place to start and exlore the east of Sicily by car.
Recomend taking av walk down to Santa Caterina. Follow the road going south through the agricultural area and then the trail down to the sea, a 40 minutes walk from the hotel.

Nice, and calm pool area. We visited Sicily in september, a bit out of season, but got a great and relaxed experience with the best service.

We were sad to go home.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with see-view so your are sure to catch the sunrise.

My wife and I have just returned from this charming and lovely hotel, we booked direct with the hotel for a 7 night stay, a great price with breakfast plus 10% discount on all food and wine purchased at the lounge bar and in the restaurant.

The hotel is located a short walk to the centre of Acireale, next to a rail line and road, we were pleasantly surprised that we were not disturbed by any traffic noise. Our room which opened up to a lovely garden and patio with table and chairs, garden lounger which overlooked the sea. Our double room was fairly spacious and modern, very clean, sky television, room safe and mini bar, the shower room was spacious, very clean and modern and came with a selection of toiletries. A bonus with this hotel was that our bed linen was changed every other day, a nice touch.

The staff at this hotel deserve a pat on the back, they were all very charming, helpful, professional and courteous in particularly all the reception staff who loved to have a chat and spoke good English. The buffet breakfast is very continental, plentiful, great choice, healthy with freshly pressed orange juice. We used the hotel in-house very popular local restaurant on 3 nights, great service, the menu which was mainly Italian and the pasta dishes are highly recommended as was the vast selection of local wines and beers, all reasonably priced.

We had a lovely peaceful and outstanding stay at this charming hotel....thank you.

I stayed 3 nights with my family (my wife and 2 kids , 9 and 11) in end october and I found the hotel very nice; moder, clean, with a nice swimming pool and very close to the center of acireale (5 minutes far away by foot).
Although the hotel is very close to the train line I didn`t hear any noice.
We paid a very cheap rate (130 euro for a room for 4 people including breakfast; and the breakfast was great with a lot opf choice)
But the most exiting experience was the restaurant; excellent sicilian food at a resonable price (i spent an average of 25 per person ) with a top presentation on the dishes. I`m passionate about food and i like cooking and honestly the quality of the food and presentation was at the top level.

My sister and I stayed here as our base for exploring Sicily. Very modern, very clean. Excellent restaurant and beautiful swimming pool. Very modern bathroom, satellite TV, most rooms have sea view. Although it is next to a train line and major road, the hotel is very quiet and peaceful. The staff are extremely helpful with information about how to get to major attractions near by -- what buses or trains to take (we did not have a car). The town of Acireale is close by and charming with some great restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Small hotel that appears to cater to beachgoers and Etna enthusiasts. Rooms are clean, modern, with well-appointed bathrooms. Rooms on lower level have lovely grassy areas facing the Mediterranean.

The food is quite good, and ordinarily so is the service. But on Saturday night, apparently the whole town of Acireale descends for dinner; tables are set up everywhere, and occupied by whole families, infant to nonna, talking and eating and having a good time. If you don't get your entire order in quickly and efficiently, you can get lost in the hubbub. But it's certainly a great way to immerse yourself in Italian family life!

I stayed for two nights in their "junior suite". The room was pleasant with two small balconies. It is not a very large room. The suite also has only a large bath tub and no shower.

The hotel has features that are not so attractive:

It is located next to a busy major road, so sitting on the balcony is not a very attractive option. And it is not possible to sleep without closing all the doors and running the ventilation system.

It is not possible to walk to any place for meals. So the hotels restaurant is the only option if you don't want to drive. It is expensive by local standards.

The hotel is understaffed for the number of guests and services. The person who mans the front desk must handle guests coming and going, answering guest questions, staffing the bar, and answering phone calls, including reservations. The result is as others have remarked: less than adequate service for this class of hotel.

Also, DO NOT use a GPS system to reach this hotel. The most direct route to the hotel is a drivers nightmare, especially in the evening.

The hotel is very nice, rooms are well furbished, bathroom is spacious, you have a little terrace with a garden and beds are comfortable.
You have also a nice breakfast area (it is also an Enoteca in the evening, but we didn't use it), with a wonderful view on the sea. Breakfast is fine with choices but a lot of broken devices (egg boilers, pastry plates,etc...)
Swimming pool area is nice, quiet and comfortable.
But the negative point is about the front desk : when we arrived, the lady at the reception didn't welcome us properly, she just gave us the keys, showed us the elevator and Basta!!!
We are demanding guests and we went several times to ask for informations which she gave but without any helpful tips.
She never recognized us (the hotel was almost empty), so we felt like just a source of revenue, that's bad because sicilian people are so friendly outside this hotel..
In the meantime, the hotel is very comfortable!

Dear Sir or Madame,

We are really sorry that your stay at our hotel has not been as pleasant as you expected to be. Moreover, it is the first time we receive a non positive mention about our staff. People who work with us are highly guest oriented and really helpful. At least, this is what our Guests report in their reviews.
Probably, since we assume you visited us in May, the reason of this lack of attention in your respect was due to the huge workload we had in this period and we can easily imagine that the lady you talking about was a little bit under pressure. We know that this is not a valid excuse and we do apologize. By the way, we hope you enjoyed your visit to Sicily.
Regards,
The General Manager
