Every picture tells a story and when you enter your bedroom and find a Kandinsky on the wall it raises expectations and I was not disappointed, the room was comfortable and well furnished, I was particularly impressed with the bathroom light which came on automatically when you entered. The shower is rather complicated and the instructions have obviously been written by a person with a rather limited command of english, but is very efficient when you get the hang of it. The restaurant and bar are attractively furnished, the staff are efficient and helpful, and the proprietor often circulates among the guests.

We stayed here for three nights at the end of March as it would be a good base for touring by car. It worked very well, except that traffic around the Catania area is heavy and there were frequent delays getting around the city. We found the hotel easy to access and were lucky enough to always find a space in the small underground garage. It is well placed on a small square near the main street of Acireale. With the window open there was some street noise but once it was closed it was very quiet. The staff are very friendly, helpful and professional. We were offered breakfast on our last morning even though it was half an hour before the diningroom officially opened for breakfast. Our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean with a good bathroom (shower only). All in all, I felt this hotel had set itself high standards and worked hard to keep to them.

I booked this hotel for a group of 27 people who were visiting Acireale for its annual carnival. Without exception, we all enjoyed our 5 night stay. The staff were attentive, friendly and welcoming. We stayed half board and all meals were served with a smile by the waiters, the food delicious and sufficient for our needs. Nothing was too much trouble and there was always an alternative if a group member preferred something different. The rooms were very comfy and cleaned everyday and the quietest hotel room I have ever stayed in. The jacqussi shower was great, once I got the hang of operating it. Location was ideal for us and there was no traffic noise to contend with. The ramp outside the hotel was appreciated by a disabled member of our group. The manager, Salvatore, organised a trip to Mt Etna and Taormina for us and enlightened us with his local knowledge of where to go and what to see in Acireale. Added to the excellence of this hotel and its staff, the carnival was the best we have seen in Europe over the last six years - with the exception of our home town (Bridgwater, Somerset UK) of course! I would recommend this hotel ajnd I would certainly recommend the carnival.

Room Tip: My wife and I stayed in room 22 which was spacious, comfortable and very quiet.

A modern hotel in a quiet, yet central area of Acireale offering great service. We opted for this hotel since it was good value for money, offering a generous breakfast, free wi-fi (though was quite poor), had parking (though limited, but easy and safe to park around if required) and is next to Catania, Etna, Taormina and Syracuse (places planned to visit). Acireale is a good place to stay in since its next to other places to visit, it is nice to walk around, though not that busy as the other nearby villages e.g. Catania. However, if not having a car, public transport can be a problem and taxis can be quite expensive.

Would recommend this hotel for a short relaxing weekend stay. The hotel was very clean, equipped with modern facilities, offering spacious clean rooms with free toiletries, served with a generous varied breakfast and staff were all very helpful and friendly.

The hotel is located in Acireale city center, easy to get in and out for traveling around using a car. We spent there 3 of 6 nights, during a group tour in Sicily, Italy. We visited, Catania, Syracuse, Noto and other small places, 1 day, Mount. Etna second day and sailed to Lipari & Vulcano Islands on the 3rd. day. Each evening returned to a great shower . There is a possibility to have a massage with this shower, great comfort after long traveling day. Breakfast is rich and have fresh tomatoes + lettuce as well as yogurt, cakes, breads, ham&cheese, juice, and hot drinks. We had an excellent dinner, a sword fish, yummy steak, green salad, and big bowl of soup (peas with pieces of other red beans) + a bottle of mineral water for 16 E (group rate instead of 25). Some people from our group went to a restaurant near by and liked the grilled meat they had. Our rooms were located on other building on the rear exit - so it was very quiet.

Room Tip: rooms on the back side are quieter
