This is the most easterly point of Italy and one can see the Albanian coastline on a good day. Sensible shoes required as the path down is quite rocky, but worth the effort.

Only about 4kms from Otranto on a peaceful winding road you’ll land up here. No/one around, a short walk down to the lighthouse. Free. For me, spectacular!

The coastal drive south from Leece is stunningly beautiful with blue ocean, sea breezes, and blurry images of land across the Adriatic Sea. Across is Albania and farther south is Greece.
We stop here to see the lighthouse and comprehend the meaning of being located at the most eastern point of Italy.

It's the edge of Italy on East. When we arrived there it was crowded first our signal went to Greece not Italy eventhough we were still on land.
It's a long way down so be prepared to walk!
It deffenetly something to see so dont miss it
