On a recent visit trip Achill Island in Ireland we found ourselves in need of a meal and decided to give Mastersons a try. There was a turf fire burning in the fireplace and as it was rainy and cold this was appreciated. During the week the menu is limited but the weekend is another story. I had the best Guinness stew EVER here. We really enjoyed talking to the proprietor and the regulars that were there. We were made to feel very welcome.
