Has to be visited. A must see!!! Perfect for swimming, paddling, or just sitting. Climb the hill behind for a view from the highest sea cliffs in Europe. Also explore the old barracks, the mass rock and the ancient church. If you sre very lucky you might find some amethyst on the hill too. One of Achills gems.

We were lucky to visit the island during a pleasant weather stretch, and found so many scenic and stunning places we didn't know where to stop. That is until we reached Keem Bay. Clean, soft sand, beautiful views, it was alluring and every bit the magical place it has been described as.
