We really enjoy our shopping experience in this outlet. It's around 1:15h from frankfurt.
You can go there by bus that move from Frankfurt main station at 9:00 am and last bus leave the outlet at 7:30pm. When you arrive first you have to go to the information disk to ask about the offers , don't miss a cup of hot chocolate from lindt shop.

Very nice open mall, but the clima doesnt help in the winter is not easy to walk around. More tham 100 outlet stores with European famous brand. Price is far way in comparison with American Outlets, but is a nice place to walk around.

Beautiful town with the old village being beautifully retained and presented. The history is centuries old, buildings that were built crookedly to save paying tax 500 years ago, glass capital of Germany with amazing glass pieces on display. The castle is worth the climb, sit with a coffee and enjoy the views. Good mix of old and new and you get a sense of the history that surrounds this town.

Modelled on American outlet malls this place is well worth a visit if you are in the Frankfurt area, but although cheaper than german high street stores, the prices aren't what you might expect in the USA. The bargains we did find were not available in the right size!
Good selection of shops like Nike, Asics, Timberland etc and certainly puts paid to an afternoon. McDonalds at the entrance is welcome if you have kids!

There's so much more to Wertheim than just the outlet shopping. Visitors can arrive by train, car, bicycle, river cruise or pleasure boat and could easily spend 2-3 hours here viewing/visiting the town's several fine churches & chapels, an enormous and very photogenic hilltop castle/fort ruin (an easy climb by road or stairs from town centre), or take the regular green "geckobahn" tourist train from the quay to the castle), a market square, the town hall (former Princely Court) and many cafes & restaurants.
