Fantastic experience from beginning to end. High quality accommodation, with superb food prepared by Jude, which was both imaginative and wholesome. Mike was great company and an excellent leader of the rides, with invaluable support from Kevin in the support van. Following this week away I would not look to tackle the Cols on my own minus the support that was offered here. For anyone looking for a great all round cycling holiday in the Alps I would not hesitate to recommend Mike, Jude and the team at Chalet Annabelle.

This was my first experience of a cycling holiday and I couldn't have wished for a better company to book with. From the moment I landed up until the second I left the hospitality and enthusiasm shown by Mike and the rest of his team was first class. A superb host at the chalet and an encouraging leader while we were out riding, the routes and climbs he had mapped out for us over the four days were spectacular. The catering was of a very high standard and the chalet accommodation likewise. A truly memorable adventure and one I certainly intend to repeat in the not too distant future. Thanks again.

Chalet Annabelle was just perfect! We had a group of 10 people so hired the chalet exclusively.
Nothing could of been done better. The transfer was such a welcome relief than having to wait for a coach load of people at the airport and go via every hotel stop on the way. It was super efficient and Mike and Jude organised our ski passes and took us the hire shop. Transfers to and from the slopes were also just what we needed as we're not the most organised bunch so were grateful that all we had to think about daily was which mountain to choose.

The Chalet itself is beautiful. All the finishing touches were there and it was home from home (only, quite a bit nicer than my home!). Fluffy robes, towels, slippers, super comfy bed, warm, all the aminities, real fire, hot tub, beer fridge etc. We all could of stayed a lot longer and the food just topped it off. Heather & Rob were fantastic and are great cooks. It was like eating in a restaurant every morning and evening. Thoroughly spoilt.

Also have to say this was the best value for money and worked out to be one of the cheapest ski holidays i've been on but with the best quality. We'd all definitely go back in a heartbeat.

We have just returned from a fantastic week at Chalet Annabelle. The quality of the chalet is the best I have ever experienced, five rooms with beautiful furnishings and plenty of space as well as a large dining/seating area with log fire which was more than adequate for all 10 of our group. Every little detail has been thought about with robes and slippers in each room, a selection of toiletries in the bathroom, a heated boot room and a variety of drinks provided in the honesty bar. The hot tub with views of the Aiguille du Midi was also a real bonus.

Staying in an owner operated chalet certainly makes all the difference, we received an incredibly warm welcome from owners Mike and Jude who were on hand the whole week to recommend ski areas, provide lift passes, drive us to and from our chosen ski area each day and answer any questions we may have had.

Without question, Rob and Heather who are front of house made our stay. They simply could not do enough for us, incredibly friendly, fun and thoughtful people. Every morning we were greeted with fresh tea and coffee, bacon, eggs, toast, porridge and croissants. In the evening they provided three fantastic courses and a great selection of wines. Tea and cake was laid out for us every evening after a day on the slopes too. A truly excellent stay, we really could not have asked for anything better.

Chalet Annabelle - Les Houches is the best chalet I have stayed in by far.
As a family, we have stayed in many chalets, in Chamonix, Les Houches, Val d'Isere and Meribel.
I would highly recommend anyone looking for a Chalet in the Chamonix area to book Chalet Annabelle.
The owners, Mike and Jude were incredibly attentive and focused prior to the booking, and remained so during our stay.
The Chalet hosts, Heather and Rob, were fantastic - making us feel very welcome with a Kir Royale toast at the start and the end of the holiday.
Chalet Annabelle is immaculate.
I cannot fault the level of detail put into the chalet and the cleanliness.
The ambience is great - a huge seating area with a central fireplace, great music system and all the entertainment devices you could wish for.
The kitchen is open, next to the dining table, so you are able to chat with the hosts as they cook, which is a lovely informal setting.
Heather was a brilliant cook and a wonderful host - what a lovely lady.
Every meal was wonderful - with very generous portions over the 3 courses.
Afternoon tea with cake was a welcome sight - with beautiful cakes available every day.
Eggs and porridge for breakfast with fruit, yogurt and croissants - what a great start to the day.
All of the crockery and cutlery was immaculate, as was the table setting.
We travelled as a family of four and shared with another family of 5.
This worked out really well for us, as the other family were very friendly.
We were given the 2 downstairs rooms, which were furnished, again immaculately - bright, clean and with lots of home comforts - fur throws, cushions, soft robes, slippers and towels, toiletries replenished constantly.
Rob did a great job to keep everything looking spotless during our stay.
Not a mark in sight!.
The Hot tub was the best I have ever been in, very hot and very well positioned, in a private spot.
Mike and Jude popped in to see how we were doing, and stayed to chat for a while, despite their busy schedule.
It makes a real difference when the hosts and the owners take the time to let you know about the area and their reasons for coming to the French Alps.
We had a wonderful stay, and coping with 2 weary kids - one a teenager, and the other 7 years old, was effortless for our hosts.

Les Houches is a great place to stay for those wanting to be close to Chamonix without the noise.les Houches itself offers brilliant skiing/snowboarding as we found out on the days when the wind was too strong in the Cham valley.

I will book Chalet Annabelle again without hesitation and can highly recommend a stay here, winter or Summer !
Chalet Annabelle is a gem. Go see for yourself.

Room Tip: All of the rooms in the Chalet are of an excellent standard - choose any !

This was our 5th family ski trip to Chamonix and stay at Chalet Annabelle. The quality of accommodation and service was at the same high level that we experienced on our first visit - and that consistency and reliability is a big reason for returning each year. Jude and Mike continue to deliver that warm welcome and attention to detail that really makes the difference. The chalet has been maintained to a very high standard and is in a great location for access to all ski areas in the valley, with the convenience of transfers from airport and to/from ski lifts. The service is excellent - great food, relaxing soaks in the hot tub with views of Mont Blanc, advice on ski areas and arrangements with lift passes & equipment. All adds up to a real gem of a place to escape the busy work life
