“Poor quality”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 29, 2014

Not impressed with this establishment at all. The single waitress was run off her feet serving both the restaurant, the outside seating and also the bar, hence extremely slow service. We were just about to give up and leave when the meal finally arrived. Made the mistake of choosing the steak - might as well have been a piece of rubber - completely inedible. Do not recommend.

“Would not go back !”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 16, 2013

We asked for a table for two, there were only 3 other couples in the restaurant and we asked if we could sit in the window (it was a table for 4) and was told abruptly 'no' by the waiter. Consequently, nobody sat there the whole night. The chairs were very uncomfortable. We ordered steak for the main which was the toughest piece of steak we had ever had and after chewing the first piece for five minutes I gave up ! The waiter didn't really bat an eye lid when we told him and asked when we paid if we were going to leave a tip ! I don't think so !

“Simple, great value”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 2, 2013

We stopped here for lunch - the 2-course Menu was €11.90, we both went for steak and chips followed by ice cream. The food was nothing extraordinary but was perfectly nice, and the service was cheerful and prompt. We'd certainly eat here again!

“Great little fish restaurant”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 23, 2012

This restaurant is new and run by the same people as La Gallette du Pequeu, and is situated right by the harbour, next to another fish restaurant. We tried this for lunch, with my brother-in-law and his wife who is both French and a great cook herself. She pronounced the food "very good" as did the other two fish eaters. All dishes were greatly enjoyed. Fish lovers will be very happy here. As a vegetarian, I had the baked camembert, with chips for dunking, and a side salad. Totally yummy, although crudites with it, rather than chips would have been less stodgy and I will probably suggest this next time we go here. There were also another couple of options that were possible for vegetarians, which make it a better option if you are dining with one than some other restaurants in town.
