Our B&B recommended this lovely restaurant. The food was delicious and the service warm & welcoming. We seemed to be the only tourisst which is a good sign that the food is good.

I had some of the best oysters with my husband I've ever had here at the restaurant du port. I had asked the waitress in they would be any good as they were out of season but she assured me that because they were locally grown and further out to sea than usual they were not fatty or milky. She was correct and they were amazing. The rest of the dinner was marvelous and the service very good if not a little brusk. We sat upstairs with a lovely view of the port.We will return the next time we are in the area.

The fish couldn't be fresher as the fishermens' stalls are right outside the restaurant. Service is friendly and professional. We had the 25.50 euro three course menu and each course was excellent. To start we had a millefeuille of crab which had slices of beetroot, apple and celeriac and worked really well. The fish dish of the day was the filets of three different fish served in an excellent cream sauce, boiled potatoes, creamed celeriac and a garnish of roasted tomato. The desserts were equally good, including a delicious apple tart.
Not the cheapest meal we had during the holiday but the prices are fair for the quality of food offered.

This is a fine restaurant, with a limited menu of mostly exquisite meals. I visited the Restaurant du Port twice in late 2011 and early 2012, and was not disappointed. The Coquilles Saint-Jacques were especially memorable! Service is somewhat slow, which however is to be expected for such delicate cuisine.
