5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 15, 2014

3rd visit here, and nothing has changed. Still fantastic service, welcome, food, bed etc. Absolutely nothing else to say as it really is faultless! Richard and Victoria are really the consummate professionals in every way.

We stayed here for 2 nights in March.

We were greeted with a warm welcome and a lovely cup of tea in the guest lounge in front of a burning fire - a perfect start.

We were in the Magnolia room, which was very spacious with a wonderfully comfortable bed and gorgeous soft and fluffy towels.

Yes it is a little tricky to find, but all you need to do is call Victoria and she guides you in - the best satnav going.

Breakfast was delicious selection of breads, croissants, pastries, cereals, cheese, juice etc and the choice of how you want your eggs cooked - we recommend them poached.

We ventured out of an evening so didn't get a chance to try the homemade cooking, maybe next time.

Would we recommend to friends and family, absolutely.

Looking at the other reviews here, it's hard to know what to add, because it all rings true with my own experience. I just stayed one night but was made so very welcome by the owners. I arrived rather later than I'd intended and hadn't pre-ordered dinner, but received a delicious, impromptu and home-cooked meal within a short time of arriving. The house itself is inspiring and the log fire very attractive on an autumn evening. I look forward very much to my next visit.

We loved Belle Vallee Normandy very much. The house and rooms are charming and very well looked after, and the surrounding grounds add a wonderful rural air. Victoria and Richard do an excellent job looking after the place and are helpful and kind hosts. Individual rooms are well set up and the whole place has a comfortable feeling of home somewhere, with the lounge room an especially convivial space Well it is someone’s home and we visitors are lucky to share it. The small negatives were the paper thin walls between the rooms which made getting up in the morning quite a communal affair. We also found the navigation from Domfront to Belle Vallee a little tricky and we noted that another guest became lost the same evening we arrived. It is possible to have an evening meal in the amiable dining room where the cuisine is acceptably wholesome, but adventuresome travellers might venture a little further afield for good regional cuisine.

Room Tip: Stairs can be a problem

Stayed here last year and loved it. This time round, loved it even more if that is possible. Victoria and Richard are charming and fun hosts and really do know how to do the whole B&B thing. Great rooms, great breakfast, dinner, roaring fire, company etc. No more to say really, except that they deserve all the accolades that they get on TA. Will be back again I am afraid!

It was really a surprise to find this lovely house with such sweet hosts. They welcomed us offering something to drink, We sat in the quite and beautiful garden in front of the magnolia tree, a perfect corner for relaxing. The magnolia room was perfect, very big, on top floor, with so nice windows. The bathroom in an old pumpered style, with magnolia related products!!! Absolutely delicate! Breakfast was delicious, home made with even fresh eggs cooked at the moment!

Absolutely a place to stop, relax and come back!!!

Room Tip: Magnolia room was a huge family room although we only used 1 room. Confortable bed, countryside view...

From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave, the care and attention you receive is second to none. We stayed 4 nights with our Australian friends and were out exploring Normandy with them all day. On returning, we were offered tea in the garden, facing the beautiful house. We ate in every night, lovely meals with vegetables fresh from their garden... far more than I could eat!

Victoria and Richard provide a paradigm for the hospitality industry that is very hard to beat.
