This is our second visit... and it did not disappoint!
The welcome from Gaele & Patrice was as before warm & genuine.
The breakfast is generous and fresh.
The evening meals are superb!
There is a delightful, clean and pleasant swimming pool and charming grounds.
Staff regularly check to see if poolside refreshments are required.
The staff are friendly and polite, without being "in your face".
Our first visit we had no balcony... this time we managed to get one, and the visit was so much the better for it.
The hotel Le Clos de Pradines is tucked away at the top of the beautiful village and so is quiet, has superb views over to Uzes but is easily accessible to the beautiful, quaint village of St Quentin la Poterie.
There is a jacuzzi & sauna - not used by us, and free secure parking.
The rooms (no.12 this time, 14 last) are spacious, airy with air-conditioning and very clean.
We will be back for further relaxing, comfortable and enjoyable visits!
The establishment is dog friendly and caters for those with disabilities.
An excellent base should you wish to visit Nimes, Ales, Arles, Avignon (beautiful), Millau Viaduct (a must!) & the wonderful market town of Uzes.

Room Tip: 12. Superb views over grounds, pool & Uzes in the distance.

An excellent hotel, climatised and spacious rooms (some with outdoor space or balcony), good beds and bathroom amenities. Outside pool in beautiful garden with view at Uzes. The restaurant is well know for its kitchen (Michelin table) by locals and guests. Hotel is located just outside the centre of Saint Quentin la Poterie, a small authentic village with Potteries and artistic shops. Close by Uzes with its castle and beautiful square "Place aux Herbes". You can make daytrips to Pont du Gard, Avignon, Nimes, Chateauneuf du Pape, all in a range of max. 1 hours drive. Don't forget to visit some winery, for instance Domain Saint Firmin in Uzes.

Room Tip: Take a de luxe room on the groundfloor with your own outdoor space

This gem is in the hilltop town of Saint Quentin de Poterie, only about a 10 minute drive from bustling, busy Uzès. It has a lovely outlook over the valley, and is quiet, calm and peaceful. The rooms are very clean and well proportioned. The pool is lovely and a welcome, sparkling respite from the Provençal summer heat. But if you only come for the food, you will be well-rewarded. The restaurant is excellent. Fresh, market-driven, daily menu, given a wonderful Provençal treatment by the chef. Friendly staff offering great service. A gem.

We tripped upon this hotel after we arrived at our B&B and were horrified by the place and promptly left. We were then in search of a place to stay, it was 6 p.m. and we were a bit desperate. Found this place online and decided to give it a go. Arrived and were greeted by Laura, and we immediately were happy with our choice. Great, friendly service more than made up for an average hotel room. We are dinner in the restaurant and the food was excellent. Breakfast was good the next morning, and we left feeling so glad we had found such a gem of a place with such wonderful owners and staff. The people make this place special.

Saint-Quentin-La-Poterie is only a five minute drive from the beautiful village of Uzès. This is a great place to stay if you have a car because it is close to Uzès, La Pont du Gard, Avignon and Nîmes. The owners are on site and keep an attentive eye on their guests. The restaurant is very good and the breakfasts are copious. Lovely setting in the small, quaint village of Saint-Quentin-La-Poterie, with a pool, room balconies and lovely terrace. Highly recommended!

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a balcony - a little more expensive but the view is beautiful.
