We stopped in this hotel for 5 nights and it was great. The room was clean and tidy when we arrived, with our own kitchenette and bathroom.

The kitchenette had 2 hob rings, a microwave (hidden in a cupboard which we didn't find until the 2nd day!), a small fridge, cutlery, pans, filter coffee machine (so either take some filter coffee with you or buy some at the shop), plates, utensils and even a tea towel. We used the pans to boil water on a morning for a cuppa as there was no kettle, but the hobs heat up very fast so it didn't take long.

The bed was comfy and the room had two desks to sit at while having something to eat. There were 2 small wardrobes and some drawers for clothes.

The bathroom was small but clean. A lot of reviews on here complain that the bathroom is "plasticy" which it is but I think this is better than seeing mould growing inbetween the grouting of the tiles!! The plastic walls and floors make it easier to clean, especially if you have just got out of the shower and don't want puddles all over the bathroom!

The hotel was very clean and the reception staff spoke good English. We didn't pay for the hotel breakfast (it is cheaper to buy something from the shop and eat in the room), but we could see that there was a variety of cereals, yoghurts, juice, coffee and pastries or bread rolls.

There is also free wifi that you can pick up on your phone/computer/tablet in the hotel. We were on the 3rd floor and there was no signal in the room so we just went and sat in the lobby to pick up the signal. The reception give you a user name and code to use to log in, and the speed is very fast!

The area that the hotel was in was extremely good. Just around the corner from the hotel are a lot of restaurants and shops. There was an Indian restaurant (who speak English) which was fantastic value for money (2 starters, 2 currys, 2 rice, 2 bread and 4 beers for 45 Euros!), an Italian restaurant where you can take pizzas back to your room, a KFC type place, Mexican restaurant and a Subway.

The train station is literally a 3min walk from the hotel reception and there is a Spar around the back of the restaurants. I would also recommend the bakery on the opposite side of the road to the Spar which do fantastic rolls and pastries for breakfast, and are extremely cheap. The Spar is ideal if you want to buy bread, juice, microwave meals, soups, fruit, cereal, milk and snacks for your room. If you are visiting Disney, I would recommend buying crisps, drinks and even sandwiches from the Spar before you go as the prices are a bit expensive in the parks.

The location of this hotel is ideal if you are wanting to visit Paris or Disney or need to travel to Charles de Gaulle airport. The train station is on the RER A red line, which is the main one to use.

The ticket machines were a little bit complicated to use at first, but if you go around the back of the train station so you are on the other side of the tracks, there is a ticket office where you can ask which tickets would be the best and purchase from there. If you do use the ticket machines, they do not take notes so try and keep all your coins for the machines. A single adult ticket to Disney (we couldn't work out if there were any return tickets) was about 3 euros 50, and a single adult ticket to Paris was about 7 Euros. Disney is only 3 stops away on the train (and the platforms and trains are all clearly signposted for Disney), and you get off at the entrance to the Disney parks. Paris city centre (we got off at Gare de Lyon) is about 10 stops away in the opposite direction.

For Paris, you are supposed to get off the red RER line and then transfer to a metro line to get to places like the Eiffel Tower, but this confused us so we exited Gare de Lyon and just walked along the Sein to Notre-Dame, the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Paris as it was in an excellent location, the price was great, the facilities in the room were exactly what we needed. I know there are bigger rooms for families too. I would return to this hotel again in the future!

well, nothing wrong with the place. We had a really large family room. it had a wooden floor which we appreciated and it was clean. Close to Euro Disney in a very boring surrounding. But well - you go there - stay the night - go to Eurodisney the whole day and that's it. therefore - good price. Remarkable is the service - although never seen anybody you can arrange everything via email. They are very keen to help, sufficient and friendly. Big plus to that. The breakfast we left out - it looked for the value of price not tempting - but I cannot say anything about it. so, all in all... to stay at a clean place for 1 or 2 nights just to see Eurodisney - it s a good place. Nothing else you should expect.

Room Tip: the family room is good price value

There is nothing terribly wrong with this hotel, but then, there is nothing quite right.

We entered our room to discover the bed neatly made, but when we uncovered it we found not a few but hundreds of short black hair on it. After we decided we could not sleep on it, I went to the reception to get new sheets, but they promptly gave us another room. The problem is, our original room was full of light, having big windows and facing south and the new one was, although bigger, dark and with a small window facing rooftops.

Tired from travel and unable to argue any more we accepted that new room but in hindsight that was a mistake. I should have gone and bought new sheets myself and spare ourselves memories of dark room, with scant lights and broken lamp bulbs, in which we spent 11 days.

I expected room service once a week, but hoped to have it twice a week, as I learned from some previous reviews for other Citea hotels, but no one showed for 11 days. No dusting or cleaning, no towel changes.

On the other hand the bed was good, at least for me, although a little too hard for my wife, and it was very quiet, so we could sleep well.

For a few days and for someone who wants to be close to Disneyland and Val d’Europe shopping centre, it could be a good choice but, after staying at two Citea hotels, I have lost any wish to experiment with another one, at least not in Paris area.

This is a relatively low price for the area but still expensive for what you get.

When reception was supposed to open at 2pm, they finally opened at 2:20. That was a long 20 mins after a long drive... He did apologise… He suggested we look at the room before paying. A ‘superior’ studio for 4 people is a single room with 2 double beds, kitchenette and a table all in one room. It was quite spread out, with plenty of storage, but there was nothing superior about it. I checked with reception that we had the correct room and that was correct. They let us see a ‘larger’ room with a separate bedroom. In comparison to the first room, it was very cramped.

We stayed with the original room. We tried to use the hob and we found that it couldn’t be turned off (no markings whatsoever). After reporting it, 2 staff came to see, fiddled about with the knobs, and then said we would have to change room as they couldn’t work it out. They ‘upgraded’ us to the room with a bedroom. We re-packed and moved room.

Then found that the separate bedroom came at a cost – very little storage space for clothes or food. For some reason, the wardrobes and cupboards were mainly half blanked off with useless nothingness… Very strange. It meant living out of bags. The hob did work, but without markings so it was guess work. No oven, or grill. 2 electric hobs, which you couldn’t fit a saucepan and frying pan on at the same time - it was one or the other. There was a microwave that didn’t rotate so it meant a lot of stopping and stirring. No draining board, and everything around the sink/hob areas was so cramped with no space to put anything. Minimal cutlery, a single blunt (should be sharp!) knife.

The second room also had a fault – this time with the shower. We reported it straight away (Sat) but were told it couldn’t be fixed until Mon. Mon came and went, reported it again on Tuesday, to be told that they had forgotten. They did fix it on Tuesday, and did replace a glass which our lad broke without question (or any cost). On Wed, I asked what we should do about the rubbish, we were told about the bin area outside the hotel (which were disgusting!!!!), but were also told that our rooms should have been cleaned on Tues… When I pointed out that they weren’t, they did clean it on Wed.

Both rooms were very dark with very poor lighting. The hotel was dirty. The beds were very hard with a pathetic excuse for a pillow.

When we wanted to leave early, we were told the previous day that reception would open at 8am. When we came to check out, they finally opened 8:15…

Pay a bit more and find a better place.

Room Tip: Try and stay higher up the hotel, to try and get some natural light from the windows
