“A pleasant hotel with a great welcome!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 4, 2014

I had to book a holiday for my wife and myself at the very last minute in May. Having little time to do my own research, a local agent in Surrey suggested Croatia and I chose this smallish hotel on the island of Brac. We both found the hotel to be far above our expectations and this was mainly due to the helpful and welcoming attitude of the staff . The rooms were not particularly large but were very clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfasts were very adequate and although the coffee was not particularly to my taste, this was true of most coffee that I found in Croatia. The hotel is situated some way from the village but we found it a pleasant little walk down to the harbour. It was also convenient for a large complex of tennis courts, hotels etc. across the road which enabled one to have refreshments or to dine in the beachside restaurant within 5 minutes of the Adriatica. If we were to visit Brac again, this is the hotel to which we would head!

this hotel is 10 mins walk from the harbour and 5 mins from the beach. its a good location as its close to it all yet just far enough away from the clubs that shut at 4am to be quiet when you want it to be . rooms are comfortable and have quiet air con though its not very powerful. rooms are spotless. shower and bathroom was good. breakfast variety was great. restaurant not open at the moment but there are loads close by. pool is small but good to cool off. we would stay again !

We visited here recently having spent the previous few days in Split. The hotel is located conveniently a ten minute walk from the harbour. We arrived early, and were warmly welcomed and advised our room was ready. The staff were so friendly and immediately took our luggage to our room. During our stay the staff were extremely helpful, and were always available to offer advice and make reservations for us. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of fresh food (on our departure at 6am, they even made us a packed breakfast for our journey to the airport!). The hotel was very well kept and clean, and we will certainly stay here again in the future. Brac itself is a beautiful island with plenty to do and see.

There is a great deal to praise at this hotel. The staff are without exception friendly, helpful and efficient. They could teach a lot of much bigger, grander hotels a thing or two. The hotel is spotless, the beds comfortable and when we visited, very peaceful. It's in a good location - a pleasant stroll to the pretty harbour or to the beach but not too close to potentially noisy amusements. We had room 306 which had a lovely view with sea glimpses across to the mountains on the mainland. Breakfasts were excellent with a good choice to satisfy all tastes - the croissants were especially delicious! We couldn't use the garden much because of the frequent rain and thunderstorms, which was a shame because it has lovely furniture and would be a great place to settle down with a good book.
Don't expect this hotel to be like a big-city 4 star hotel. The rooms are small, there is no lift, the free wi-fi is very limited in its range (not reaching the rooms or the garden) and the reception seating area is somewhat lacking in appeal. However these are very minor negatives in comparison with all the positives. I have no hesitation in recommending Villa Adriatica, and would stay there again very happily.

My family and I had a WONDERFUL time staying at Villa Adriatica at the end of May this year. The actual hotel is very cute with flowers and trees everywhere. Our room overlooked a fabulous garden with tables and chairs that we didn't have time to enjoy but looked very relaxing. The staff was wonderful as well and very welcoming. They greeted us with Grappa and chatted with us about our stay which made us feel right at home. They were also very helpful finding us a cab to take us to a couple of the cities that our great grandparents were born in.

We definitely recommend VA for anyone visiting Supetar. It was within walking distance of fun bars and a delicious restaurant, Rosso. We hope to come back very soon and we would definitely stay here again!

Room Tip: The rooms overlooking the garden were very cute and quiet for us. They might be less quiet once the...

At Split airport we were meet by the owner who then arranged transfer to the island of Brac. After 6 days we can't fault the hotel and the very helpful staff. Always ready with advice and sorting out any issues/questions the holiday was relaxing and all that we wished for. Brac is a great island, certainly, in May. Might get a bit more hectic in the main holiday season . MTB ride from highest point to coastal town well worth a try.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking garden should be your first choice.
